“I've been to Handy Dandy twice now for help cleaning two different formal dresses, both needing quite a bit of work, in different ways. The staff here were always kind, helpful, professional and eager to give me the best possible results. I especially appreciate Thomas for communicating openly about what my dress would need and how long it would take. I felt very much respected and taken care of throughout the process each time and realize this kind of care, attention and humanity is something you can only get with a smaller local business like Handy Dandy. My dresses turned out better than I had hoped!”

“Clean, well maintained. Ads constantly play on TV. Coin operators and dispensers allocated to customers. Card can also be used on SOME not all machines. Different machines have different rates of drying time/1 quarter. Less than 10 seats for a seating area. Around 5 Baskets to transport clothes to machines.”

“Very clean spot, the person running the place visibly puts a lot of effort into it. Newer machines with reasonable prices, and they all take cards. Very busy on weekends but weekdays after work I’m often alone in there.”

“It’s clean. The dryers actually dry your clothes and they have a public bathroom! Open 24/7 You can use cards on washers. Saves a lot of time. Benches outside and a tv inside. What more can you ask for short of someone doing your laundry for you!”

“Prices for washer could be lower. It was hardly worth the $12+ it cost to wash one quilt. The dryer price was much better but confusing to get it started for a first-timer.”

“Our dryer broke, so I had been using this laundromat without issue for a couple weeks. After the first week of school we had a couple weeks worth of clothes that all went into one dryer. Every single piece came out with multiple holes in it. I was honestly beside myself, I didn’t even entertain doing anything about it for the better part of a week. There’s no phone numbers or hours posted in or around the laundromat and there isn’t an attendant. We had work clothes, new school clothes, bathing suites, etc... At least $500 worth, but probably to actually replace each and every piece would cost more. I finally did google for the number and got in touch with Noah-a partner in the business. Noah was kind, timely and did make the situation right. I honestly didn’t expect a resolution, but I was upset enough that I didn’t want to just let it go. I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised by his great customer service. Thanks Noah!”

“Absolutely the best dry cleaner around! I’ve been bringing my clothes here for a while, and they never disappoint. They recently cleaned and preserved my wedding dress, and it came out amazing. The staff is always friendly, professional, and genuinely care about doing great work. Turnaround time is fast, prices are fair, and the quality is unbeatable.”

“$3-4 per wash load, $0.25 per 7 minutes for dryer. Always clean and machines always working. The place closes at 10 but the front door is locked at 8:30pm sharp. Just make sure you’re in the door before 8:29pm”

“I brought my shirt to this place to be washed. As soon as I got back, there was a problem with it. They couldn't find it. The person told me to wait a few days. I went back, they couldn't find it. They told me to come back in 2 weeks. I gave them a month and at first they offered to give me half the value of the shirt. Which obviously made me quite angry because it was a very good quality shirt. As soon as I got back, a month later, the person responded to me for the full value of the shirt. He is a very responsible person and I appreciate that he responded for the full value of the shirt. I understand that accidents happen. And the truth is, I recommend this place so that you can take your shirts to be washed.”

“I’m a college student who makes his own money and used to go to a laundromat in glenmont. Minimum of $3 JUST for a washer, and sometimes $5. I found this place by my house and it’s $3 for washer AND dryer and I’m done in under an hour! This place is incredibly clean as well. I highly recommend”

“Pretty good experience. There was one lady at the register, she seemed tired or not in a good mood but otherwise the clothes were done when she said they would be and the prices were fair I’d give it a 4.5/5 just can’t put that rating on here…”

“Clean machines, polite and helpful attendant. One machine ate three of my quarters but didn't give me credit for them. The attendant noticed my distress and asked to help. Told my story and she cheerfully started the machine for me. I hadn't been inside a laundromat for 30 years. The attendant and other customers were all helpful and friendly.”

“Likes: Friendly service, free drying days, constantly trying to improve service and to maintain a clean environment. Convenient location along a bus route. Dislikes: quite a few out of service washers and dryers sometimes increases time spent there.”

“Typical laundromat. Has lots of big machines which I prefer. Place was clean with dryer sheets on the floor (expected since it's a laundromat). All of the patrons I ran into were very pleasant and helpful (held open doors, shared of a machine wasn't working). I happened to find a dryer that didn't work and reached out through the online messenger. Owner gave me a refund within 48 hours, I thought that was a very reasonable time frame. Very pleased with even getting a refund. Also I think a lot of patrons don't realize if we don't notify the workers/owners that the machines are down then how will them know they need to be fixed??? I will definitely be using this place again. Clothes came out very clean and the good dryers get very hot so all of my blankets and clothes were dry. I hate leaving with wet clothes. Overall great laundromat, the parking lot is a bit small but you are with walking distance of restaurants and Aldi's is very close by.”
