“They went above and beyond for us. We needed a car seat in an emergency and they helped us out and even helped us install the car seat. We will be purchasing from them again just because of their helpfulness.”

“Thank you for making my mom's Mother's day special. She has Alzheimer's so isn't able to enjoy much at this stage.....but to see her smile while enjoying a Clark bar that she used to loved made everyone tear up. Thank you for giving her a good day.”
“Gaming Universe Corp had been a staple in the TCG community going back to their days in the now closed Hong Kong Supermarket. They have a wide selection of cards, great prices, and friendly staff.”
“Virtually every hobby shop ive been to always has some degree of dirt or clutter, but not this one. This is an immaculate, well organized and well stocked shop and should be the first stop for anyone looking to start a hobby”
“What a pleasant surprise. This store is full of great finds with a great variety of toys and collectable items. The gentlemen inside are welcoming and engaging. I admire a business where its obvious thay they love their store and take pride in their business. We'll done!”

“I love shopping here and the employees here are very friendly and always helpful . People who have made complaints about how they are treated poorly maybe they should have stopped and think hey maybe I deserved the poor treatment from the employee/s and don’t be a stickler and always expect to be greeted the minute you walk in.You are not a KING or anything ?. So be mindful of your actions first before pointing fingers at others.”
“Great model train store for that special train for a reasonable price. A wide selection of hobby products. Personally I'm into HO trains and let me tell you, I can spend a good portion of a day just picking and choosing.”
“Had the pleasure of meeting Bobby today, he is incredible! He is smart, knowledgeable, and glad he was able to give me more information on the new Batman Lego I purchased for my 10 year old nephew! Thank you again for such an amazing experience at Legos in Garden City :)”

“No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”
“The guys at Royal have always been so welcoming and kind. As a beginner in the world of card collecting I’ve had too many experiences with snotty people or getting judged for collecting just the “cute stuff”. None of the guys have ever made me feel bad and fellow customers are equally as friendly and engaging. They answer my questions and don’t seem to mind if I pop in a few times a week to ask if the same product I’ve been looking for has arrived yet. Nice to have a go-to home store.”

“Bought two canvas and some other things from here. They had a larger selection than the one I went to previously. Really enjoyed painting these and their perfume/beauty selection. They have a very small array of vegan skincare which I was happy they had at all.”
“I had a wonderful experience at this toy store! The selection of toys was amazing, with plenty of options for kids of all ages. The store was clean, well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the variety of fun and creative products available. It’s a great place to find gifts and make children happy. I will definitely visit again!”
“Great fast service, been here for years. Good video game selection, repair service personally never had any issues. They fixed my ps5 controller and it feels better then brand new. Will definitely be coming back for future repairs and any games I want. physical > digital.”
“On behalf of The Collective, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible team at Lakeshore Learning in New Hyde Park. Over the past several years, this location has consistently delivered an experience that goes far beyond customer service. It feels like genuine partnership, community, and care for the field of education.
Every single time I walk through those doors, Mary has been an absolute powerhouse of support to both myself and my team. Her professionalism, patience, product knowledge, and warm spirit are unmatched. She never simply “sells products.” She helps us think intentionally about how materials can elevate the experiences of children, classrooms, and educators alike.
The same can be said for so many others there including Narisa, Kayla, Michelle, Joy, and countless additional team members who continuously make us feel valued and welcomed. They remember our team. They ask about our families. They take the time to truly understand what we are trying to create for children and provide thoughtful insight that helps us make meaningful decisions.
As leaders in early childhood education, we know how important it is to create environments where people feel seen, supported, and inspired, and this Lakeshore team models that beautifully every single visit.
Thank you all for your consistency, kindness, and dedication to educators everywhere. Your work matters more than you know, and the impact reaches far beyond the walls of your store.”

“I was a frequent customer of Toy Kiddy House back in my childhood. My mother would take me there all the time to the point where we were regulars for a NUMBER of years.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They'll ask if everything is okay as a courtesy and will always help if needed.
I was looking for a video game that they didn't have in stock and the owner called up a warehouse to see if they can expedite shipping to the store within the week.
They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.”
“They had amazing kind people working there they had such amazing needoh s and everything you can imagine. I really do think that you should go there in so five stars.”
“Best record shop in Queens!!! If not the whole city. Absolute hidden gem. Boris and his wife are the nicest people in the world. They also have Latin records as well. A lot of first pressings. Everything is in mint condition. My go to vinyl record shop for ever!”
“Floral park is tiny, but cute and cozy. Definitely helps narrow down your selection. Store is always organized and clean. Employee Alesia is hands down the best. She is very knowledgeable and helpful! Very much recommend her. Her wrapping is excellent. Mattys is worth the money. We love it there!”
“It’s such a joy to walk into a toy store again with my grandkids, letting them pick what they want in person. I truly miss real stores with real items, and I’m so tired of big chains. This mom-and-pop shop is exactly the place to support so it stays open. Whether it’s a newborn gift or a birthday present, skip the big-box store—Maddie’s Toy Shop is the only place you need.”

“This is hands down the best Five Below location! The store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked, making every shopping trip enjoyable. The customer service here is truly exceptional.
The store manager is absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and always makes sure my daughters and I leave happy. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their team.
I also have to give a special shoutout to Lizzie! She is such a sweetheart and is always so kind to my girls. We’re in Five Below pretty often, and every single time she sees us, she greets us with a smile and checks in to see if we need help finding anything. It’s employees like her who make us want to keep coming back.
The entire staff deserves recognition for providing outstanding customer service. They’re always patient, helpful, and professional, even when dealing with difficult situations. I’ve unfortunately witnessed customers being aggressive toward employees over something as simple as Squishys, and I truly don’t understand it. The Five Below team handles these situations with grace and kindness. It’s free to be kind, and these employees absolutely deserve the same respect they show every customer.
Thank you to the entire team for always making my family’s shopping experience such a positive one. Keep up the amazing work!”

“Today my husband, my daughter & I went in hoping to make a gender reveal bear for our baby on the way. Marcel approached us immediately with great energy and once we told him our idea he was extremely energized to help us and ensure our experience was exciting. Marcel did the above and beyond for our experience and we can’t thank him enough! Thank you for being a part of our story and for the amazing attention to detail.”
“Good Morning , I went to this store on Jamaica Ave. I was able to get some things for my class. The lady at the register was very pleasant and helpful. She said hello and Good morning plus also told me where the items were. Thank you for being so helpful. The store had a lot of things and it was clean. I will be going back?”
