Drogo is an 8-month Cane Corso puppy. When I arrived at the store to drop him off for training, Drogo was lunging and growling at every person who entered. It was dangerous and not to mention embarrassing. I’ve had to leave other dog-friendly places because of the same awful behavior. What a mess we were.
When I returned to Maximum K9 for a demo after 2 weeks, Katie and Kayla trained me with Drogo and then took us into the same store, this time more bustling and crowded than at drop-off. Drogo and I were able to walk around calmly, he was not reactive at all, and I was able to put him into a down position and he stayed. It was like I was seeing a DIFFERENT DOG! Wow!
I could go on and on with examples and stories and I honestly can’t say enough great things, but the bottom line is that this was one of the best decisions we’ve made and we had an amazing experience. Drogo is a GOOD BOY and he was loved and well cared for by all of the staff. I am now confident and proud to walk with Drogo. I highly recommend Maximum K9 and we will be returning for ongoing classes. Thank you for teaching us and for loving Drogo. We will see you again soon!”
“I had never even heard of Central Park Puppies when I began searching for my Cavapoo. The site came up when I did a Google search. I never knew anyone who used them, had no referrals, and no background. All I know is that from the second I contacted Central Park Puppies, I was provided feedback, pictures, videos, etc. I dealt with Ash and she was a pleasure- her responses were quick, she had all the details I wanted, and even reached out to the breeder for additional videos of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Central Park Puppies! My husband and I kind of jumped into our purchase, but every step of the way was simple, straightforward, and pleasurable. It has been a little over a month that we have had our pup and I still keep in touch with Ash. She loves getting updates for all the pups she places in homes, which shows how much she cares about these puppies. “I never thought I’d feel so full ❤️ for months I was doing the wrong thing & taking advice from Petsmart which led to his tank being at 70 degrees and him being depressed with low energy n I just didn’t know why. I took him to creepy creatures in farmingdale and they got his food and lighting right and I finally got my CyCy back??? he’s running around like never before I feel like he’s a baby again!! I’m so happy I brought him here and just glad nothing is wrong and that it’s not too late. I love this animal with every fiber of my being. Thank you creepy creatures ❤️?”

“This is the best store in NY state if not the US. I have gone to many stores and Tropical Island aquarium has it all. From rare and exotic fish to the highest end coral. For beginners it is where you must go to start off in the hobby. The reason why I say it’s the best because they have the most competitive prices for the nicest coral and exotic fish beats the highly marketed online sellers and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Purchased two pups from this store. One in 2021 and the other in 2023. They are truly the best pet shop on Long Island. I visited a few pet shops in the area from Huntington and neighboring areas before selecting this one to purchase our pups. This was the only one that did not smell like pee! The location is extremely clean and the puppies are well cared for. That made me feel safe. Our first Yorkie was sick once we brought her home because she wouldn’t eat the day we took her home but luckily they provided her with healthcare from West Hills Animal Hospital next door. They covered the whole bill and she got better!The maltipoo has never had any health issues, but my only issue was that she turned out WAY bigger than expected. We love her but I wanted her to be a similar size to the yorkie as promised. So that left a sour taste in my mouth after paying so much for two dogs. The maltipoo is almost 10lbs and she was supposed to be around 6lbs-7lbs at most.”

“We have been taking our cat to Plainview Animal Hospital for years. We love the staff and board our cat frequently there. Unlike many vets, they do medical boarding, which we need since our cat gets insulin shots twice daily. We have tried other vets before in the tri state area (we've lived in NYC for years). However, we continuously make the trip to Plainview Animal Hospital for their level of care and having the options we need for our pet.”

“Just got my Mocha groomed this morning by Kristen. She is so sweet and Mocha adores her. She is a huge dog lover and Mocha knows this and gets lots of kisses and ear rubs from her favorite!!!
Mocha looks super spif. I usually don't get a doggy cut in October as the weather is getting cooler but this one is a great length and we will look stylish for the fall holidays.
Every doggy cut from Kristen has been great. Wish MY haircuts were so good?♀️?♀️
She also gives great advice about doggy dental care.

“Good staff. Took a star off because sometime they talk way too much to each other at the counter. While ringing people up, legit delayed time by 3-5min. Sometimes some people are in a rush and each minute counts,other than that. The Staff is great , awesome people. Respectful , kind. And greeted every pet they saw. And that's a MAJOR PLUS for me. You can tell they are good souls by their actions towards each animal they see. Fudge it. 5 stars.”

I was out of town and needed my puppies nails cut; I wasn't sure how to get my records, i called up spoke with Joe- without hesitation he walked me through how to get my pets records to submit for grooming at another location! “When we decided on getting a waterfall in our backyard, we started looking at reviews and calling companies. Some were so expensive it felt overwhelming and like we were buying a house, not a waterfall. Another two companies kept telling us they would get back to us and never did. Then we called Aquarium Design Network New York, Inc. and talked with Darian first over the phone and then in person. From the first phone call, we could tell that he knew his business. He was professional, polite and cared about what we wanted. When we first met Darian, he was on time, knowledgeable, caring, and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need, but gave us great ideas we never thought of. Darian didn't just listened to what we wanted, but the way we wanted it. We agreed on a very reasonable price, set a starting date and a few days later, we met Darian's staff, Phil and Andrew. When they first introduced themselves, they were on time, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and they took great care in the vision we wanted. They shared some great ideas and we were so confident in what they were doing. We saw they had such a passion and loved what they did, so we just let them create it. What a beautiful creation they made! They went above and beyond and it shows. All through the project, Darian always kept in touch, answered all our questions and always sent us a text message to let us know what time the workers would be arriving and even stopping by to make sure everything was going smoothly and it did. The whole process was stress free and unbelievably true. We, our family and friends all love it in the day and night!! We wouldn't use anyone else and would highly recommended Aquarium Design Network New York, Inc.”

“We love this place, the bully sticks and dehydrated raw treats are in open bins so my puppy can help pick one out. Each time we're there we're the only dog inside so it's not overwhelming for the puppy. Our was $10 cheaper than Amazon - love to patronize a local shop! :) It's also right next to Blue Line Deli for human breakfast.”
