It is easy to get to and an excellent place to stay when visiting the Syracuse area. The hotel itself may be older, but the rooms are very comfortable, nice, clean, quiet, big, and spacious with good mattresses and large bathrooms. The service is very good, with a very friendly, helpful, and respectful staff that is there for anything guests need. The manager and staff provide awesome service, creating an experience that is through the roof and cannot be compared. Amenities are a highlight, featuring a functional hot tub with amazing water and a nice-size, clean pool. The breakfast is amazing and better than usual, with items like eggs, oatmeal, bacon, home fries, waffles, assorted breads, cereal, fresh fruit, and multiple juices. The lobby, hot tub, pool, and staff are noted as the nicest looking among area hotels. While some guests wish for access to streaming services on the TV, it is not considered a huge deal. The staff's exceptional care is emphasized, with specific praise for going above and beyond to help guests in need. Overall, it is considered the best hotel in Syracuse, offering all the amenities guests will want and delivering delightful, hands-down excellent service that ensures guests will definitely return.
