βMy husband and I purchased a shower door several years ago and it still looks brand new. I love having a glassed-in shower, it creates a beautiful space. The employees are so helpful and knowledgeable. Iβm always met with a smile. Going to a family owned Buisness is on a whole different level, the attention to detail and care they take in the customer just doesnβt compare to Loweβs or Home Depot.β

βRain dew is a great local store that remind you of the old-time Woolworths. They seem to have a little bit of everything you can get candy, hardware, yarn, toys.. they have it all. Prices are great for a small local store. They even have a pharmacy. Itβs great to shop local and support business in the area.β
βI went in on Thursday 9/11/25 . would like to thank the young gentleman that helped me remake an A/C hose for my 1984 318 i BMW . I have to apologize. I asked him his name at least 3 times . Canβt remember his name . He professionally and courteously helped me rebuild a 40 yr old plus a/c hose . The challenge wasnβt the rebuild . The challenge was your staff member trying to decipher my lack of knowledge. He spent an inordinate amount of time with me to figure out what I needed and manufactured a custom hose for my 1984 318i BMW . Great job ! Great professional courteous service. Also , they made it for me while I waited !!β

βVery large local hardware store. Big parking lot. Store is fairly well merchandised but due to its size it seems kind of empty when you walk through it. One cashier, which was sufficient. A few employees on the floor to help find items. Large displays and case-cuts throughout. Very clean, well lighted space.β
βThey usually have what you're looking for and they're very helpful. Prices are great and it's 100% more convenient than wasting hours in the big stores looking for a box of screws or other small items. Great place, knowledgeable staff. Love Barney's Hardware...β

βWent for bird food (on sale) , some hose repair items and Round-up, everything was where I could find it, never have any problems locating things, and if I need help, everyone is happy to steer me in the right direction. Love wandering the aisles though, always find something new of interesting. Love this place!β

βI have been going to Millers for 37+ years. Obviously, that alone, says something. Stuart & his son Michael, and the rest of the long time staff, are all wonderful. Pretty much whatever you need is there. Old time " service with a smile" AND they actually appreciate your business, unlike the big box stores. βBruce (owner) always goes above and beyond to help a customer. He has been in Queens Village for over four decades.Yesterday out of curiosity, I went to a distributor in Maspeth to get price on 4 ea. of a hex head cap screw and a flange nut. Come to find out the distributor sells by the pack. Screws were $23 / pack of 50 ea. Nuts were $20 / pack of 100 ea. Bruce sold me the four I needed for $2.It never fails to support small businesses in the neighborhood. I am and will always be a customer for life.Thank you!β

And they sell those oval rubber coin holders, which I had been seeking for a long time. Narrow store, jammed with products. Located Rochdale Village inside shopping center (from main entrance, ~3rd shop on left).β
βThe staff is always so helpful and friendly! I have gone in there for multiple projects and they always take the time to help me find exactly what I need to get the job done right! Definitely my go to for anything home related.β
