The formulation of the cream is also the best I have received. It is uniform and consistent, which is sometimes hard to find. They also ship if you are unable to pick up at their location. After changes to our insurance we were lured into using CVS for our subscriptions because they offered delivery. After a few “fills” we quickly learned our move to CVS was a mistake. For reasons never clear to us, our maintenance meds could not be delivered and we never were able to take advantage of the delivery service for which we were paying $10 per month. What we did get was non-stop unwanted emails and texts.
The pharmacist at Sam’s called us to confirm that we had switched to CVS and explained that non-controlled medications could be shipped to us for free. We also had the option of 2 free same day deliveries.
Not only did WE switch back to Sam’s Pharmacy, but we switched our parents, who live an hour away. Like us, they have mobility issues and love having meds sent to their front door. And of course they are now members of Sam’s. During the first visit they went on a buying spree. My mother said several times “this place is way classier than BJ’s.” Finally, my father made me set up Scan and Go while in the store because he wanted to scan items like I was.
We can’t fully express how much we value our relationship with the the Pharmacy staff (Nick, Sandy and Mellisa). I mean, come on; Nick even has my date of birth memorized
I think that since 2020, we have convinced a dozen people to get a membership at Sam’’s,
And, all the credit for our loyalty owes to Nick and Sandy!

“My eye doctor called in a prescription for me because my regular pharmacy could not fill it. They called me to tell me that the co-pay would be $300. I told them to hold off filling it because I wanted to call my insurance company. When I called the insurance company they told me that the price was high because I had not met my deductible for the year. They offered to get the price from their mail order pharmacy, but when they tried to do so the system could not generate a price because Walgreens still had it in their system. I called Walgreens back to get them to deactivate the prescription and when the man was talking to me he asked if anyone had mentioned the grant. We talked about it and he took my information to see if I qualified. I did qualify and he was able to get this filled at no cost to me. If it had not been for this man taking the time to try to help a customer, then I would have had to pay. I wished I had gotten his name; thank you for taking that further step. I deeply appreciate the great customer service!”
“I shop there some for non-pharmacy items. Using the extracare cards makes it more affordable than it would be otherwise. Store brand items are good quality. They are expensive without the card.”

“When I called on the phone to see if my daughter could get her prescription filled there that her usual pharmacy did not have Jacqueline was extremely nice and helped me set up a profile for her so that I could get the medicine easily however what I do not like about the pharmacy is that you have to have a consultation even if you already know how to use the medication they do not ask you do you need a consultation? They force it upon you Another thing that I really did not like was when I came in as I am new to this pharmacy, I stood in front of the pick up window where there was somebody waiting to help. She was not friendly at all, she did not greet me and said she said I’ll be with you in a moment and then when I was still standing there, she looked up at me and said actually in a rude way can you go wait by the exit sign me being new to the pharmacy had no idea where the exit sign was,and as soon as I stepped back, another pharmacist yelled out can I help the next person a gentleman behind me who came after me tried to go in front of me and I had to excuse myself and tell him I was there first I was helped without a problem, but I felt like as a new customer this is no way to treat people. I was actually thinking about switching my pharmacy to Walmart until this interaction.”
“The people at this Walmart pharmacy are very helpful and friendly. I had to switch a script that CVS continuously had trouble getting over to Walmart and now I'm thinking of switching all my scripts to here. I do have trouble with the online ordering and tracking of scripts, but the interaction with the actual pharmacy people here is really great and they really do go above and beyond. I'm not used to this type of good customer service and it's great when it happens!”
“Thank you for the best checkout experience ever at Market Bistro in Latham. Yesterday I did a quick shop. As I entered the checkout lane, the lovely woman who was bagging noticed I was in a sling. She immediately took over unloading, scanning large items and bagging. She then got someone to help me to the car. I was blown away. This was such a positive experience that needs to be shared and given the praise deserved.

“My first time using this pharmacy. Its a small pharmacy in the lower level of Albany Damian House. Initially was not completely comfortable using it. But they understand the urgency of needing your scripts and as its more of a speacialty pharmacy keep complete open communication about your meds and the status. They are very professional yet personable. Its very clean and orderly as well.”

“A young store associate went above and beyond to assist me in (re) printing photos I had ordered on my phone the day before. The order was initially confirmed then cancelled. This associate went out of her way to make things right by looking up my cancelled order and repeatedly trying to print it. After several attempts, 45 minutes later, she successfully printed my order of 36 photo strips. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received from this employee. She was professional, kind, tenacious and patient. Excellent experience!”
