“This is a brand new Dollar General location, opened in 2022. It is in the heart of the Lyndonville village. There is a decent sized parking lot in front of this bright new store. We have a camp property north of Lyndonville, and used to have to drive several more miles all the way down to the Dollar General on the 104 to grab things there as needed. This new location is so much more convenient for the summer lake community! The store itself is bright and clean. You'll find all of the typical Dollar General merchandise you find at any of their stores: basic groceries, decorative items, some apparel, bath and beauty products, baby needs, OTC medicines and first aide, cleaning supplies, paper products, basic housewares, simple automotive and lawn and garden supplies, games and toys, and other odds and ends, etc. The staff has been nice enough anytime we've stopped in. And you'll find typical Dollar General markdowns here, too. I was in recently and all of the summer decor was marked down 75%. I scored a few cute artificial plants for my office for a buck and change a piece. Moseying around the aisles, you're bound to find various deals of this nature around the store at any given time. I'm grateful that this closer location opened near our camp, and happy it is a stellar Dollar General location so far. Thanks so much!”
“I’ve been coming to Millers for years. Never disappointed. I always order a sandwich before I start my shopping. The bread is superb, it’s so soft and fresh and the sandwich is structured perfectly. Everything is proportioned and they look and taste amazing. Today I went to the deli and grabbed cold cuts for work on the road for myself and my team. The price of their cold cuts is actually half the cost than a wegmans or tops and the quality is so much better. Highly recommend to try the deli for your Sammy meats and order yourself a sandwich!”
“Great selection of spices! It’s so hard to find some of this stuff. Got some nice tortillas that are so much better than anything I can usually get, along with some dried peppers that are hard to come by. I look forward to getting some conchas, oaxaca, chorizo, etc.
While I do plan to buy more- the taco truck next door- amazing. I had the chorizo, steak, and the lengua. The tortillas are nice and fresh tasting. The individual tacos meat were great. Chorizo was some of the best I had, given access to great chorizo can be hard to come by. The beef was tender but the lengua was even more tender which can be rare for it. The spices are great and we could smell it as soon as it was being made. The toppings were wonderful- a great amount of cilantro and the onions on the side that were like stewed or something in a sauce- those were amazing. The selection in the building of salsa Roja and Verde were also well spiced and extremely tasty. I will buy that verde at some point when I’m back in the area. Pico good, there wasn’t a part of it I didn’t love.
Sadly I’m not in the area much otherwise I’d be here every day. Please locals. Give this place a shot. It’s so worth it. I wish they would come to Rochester.”
“Aldi is a special place in the supermarket game — a place with quality products and prices that don’t grind you into dust. They supposedly pay better than the competition too, something you can actually feel in the air here: calm cashiers, aisles that run smooth, a quiet sense that someone here actually cares. Customers can tell when workers are treated right.”
“This is the first Tops that I have ever been to that was very organized and had fully stock shelves. The store also was very clean and that is including the rest rooms. Everything else was the same with all the other Tops markets, and that is they have fair prices.”
“This restaurant is very, very good. I just had a Reuben melt and ff. My sister has told me about this place and she is right. It's the bomb!!!!!!!! The sandwich was so good!!!!!!! The customer service was great and all the employees were all awesome!!!!!!! Great place.”
“This is my favorite DG. It’s close to where I work so I stop here often. I thoroughly enjoy all of the staff here. They’re always so friendly, and some of them even joke around with the customers which is nice to experience. I have never had a bad experience here. The store is ALWAYS clean organized and well stocked. This location has hit gold with their staff and I hope they’re appreciated.”
“Clean shelves were empty but in the process of re stocking if you dont see it on the shelf ask 9 times out of 10 they have it in the back just havent had time to stock it yet.”
“Sooner or later I think there may actually be a DG on every corner! Lol...But what can I say 90 % of the ones around here are great, they usually have what you need at a good price and with helpful friendly service... And I especially love the 18 packs of Mt. Dew. Lol such a good deal. Not the healthiest liquid... But my fam attacks 1 problem at a time... ?”
“Medina Tops October 2 just after 5pm.
Didn't get her name, but the lady working in the bakery was done with her shift and she kindly took time to slice a loaf of Italian Bread for me.
She deserves more than my thank you, so Im recognizing her here.”
“On our way to Medina we made a stop at Spencer's The country Store. We had home made Pie on our mind. But... to our dismay The country Store did not have any. We met the baker who was a friendly gentleman. He offered us a frozen pie with many flavors to choose from. This was perfect since I wanted it for Easter desert. We enjoyed a perfect coconut creme pie which was filled with a delicious cream custard. Thank you The Country Store. 5 stars for you!!”
