“We enjoy the Malone store....it is clean, orderly, and well stocked. We usually go eastward, as we live in Mooers Forks, & there's quite a contrast. Only problem we have with Malone....it needs a Sam's Club...LOL.
Thanks! Job well done....kudos to the staff!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Price Chopper – A Better, More Traditional Grocery Shopping Experience in Malone
Having shopped at both Price Chopper and Walmart in Malone, I can honestly say that Price Chopper offers a far better experience when you’re looking for a true, traditional grocery store. From the moment you walk in, it feels organized, clean, and welcoming — the kind of place where grocery shopping is actually enjoyable rather than rushed or chaotic.
The produce section is always fresh and well-stocked, with fruits and vegetables that look and taste like they were chosen with care. The layout is easy to navigate, and it’s clear that quality and presentation matter here. The meat and seafood departments are excellent — everything is neatly displayed, well-labeled, and the staff are knowledgeable and ready to help with cuts, suggestions, or special requests.
One thing that stands out most about Price Chopper is the friendly, attentive staff. You can actually find people who smile, greet you, and offer assistance without being asked — something that’s become rare in larger chain stores. The checkout process is smooth, lines move quickly, and the cashiers treat you like a neighbor rather than just another transaction.
While Walmart may have its convenience for certain household items, Price Chopper simply feels more personal and focused on food. It’s cleaner, calmer, and better suited for anyone who actually enjoys grocery shopping and wants consistent quality. The store feels like part of the community, not just a corporate stop.
The bakery and deli departments are another highlight — fresh bread, sandwiches, and ready-to-eat meals that taste homemade. Everything is neatly presented and well-stocked, even during busy hours.
In short, Price Chopper in Malone offers the kind of grocery experience that’s becoming harder to find — friendly service, fresh food, and a relaxed, well-kept environment. If you’re tired of the warehouse feel and long lines at Walmart, this is the place to go.
We now make Price Chopper our go-to for groceries, and it’s always worth the extra few minutes for a shopping trip that actually feels pleasant.”
