“Today was the first time going to this post office. I usually go to the big one off of Hillside and 164th and it's always a very unpleasant experience. I chose differently today and decided to go to this branch on Austin street. They had enough people behind the counter and my agent was a superstar. He helped me find the best price for shipping my package, helped me choose the right box and he made sure I didn't have to wait in line a second time! This is now my new post office!”

“I did my son’s passport here. I loved the privacy that was created in this location. They have a whole separate room for passports. Ladies taking the applications were knowledgeable and nice. “Line moves fast. Isabella, the lady with the unkept hair, and sunken eye bags is rude and dry. Whereas, the woman with long grey hair is quick, kind and straight to the point. I didn’t catch her name it starts with a M, but give her a raise!”
“I love this post office. The staff is always in good spirits and they’re ready to help with any issue. The gentleman there always greets me with a smile and is quick and efficient with my packages. I ship a lot because I have a small business and I will always choose USPS. When I came in with a bunch of orders the other day no one sighed or looked upset they were ready to scan & get me to my next errand. They really know how to get a long line down fast while giving each individual customer care and time. Great job guys!!”
“I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. “The gentleman that has been there for years is carrying this post office on his back!! He’s the nicest person I have ever encountered that works at a post office. Usually these people are rude and disgusting for no reason. I forgot his name but he is a light skinned black man. I ship packages at least 10 times a week and I specifically stand and wait for him. He should train these incoming employees so they can see how to treat people. Give him a raise immediately!”
“This USPS office is small compare to some other USPS office but offering Great Service! The people working here is dedicated specially Ms. Nathly and Ms Hunny, as I was about a queries regarding my one parcel and they solve it with nice way ! Love to have the service again !”

“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”
“Came here a few minutes before closing to deliver a very important package that needed to be postmarked on that day. The fee was $2.85, but I only had about $1.80 on me. The nice lady still let me deliver the package. I'll be forever grateful for how they treated me that day.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“I’ve only been to the Glen Head post office twice, but both times have been such a joy thanks to Kareena. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderfully talkative attitude that truly brightens my day. She manages to take the “chore” out of running an errand and turns it into a genuinely pleasant experience.
I live several towns over, but from now on, I will make the trip to this specific post office simply because of Kareena. She’s such an asset—not just to the Glen Head post office, but to every customer she interacts with. Highly recommend coming here if you want excellent service with a smile!”

“I had a passport appointment at the Bronx location today because it was the only appointment available. I traveled all the way there only to find out that the passport employee didn’t come to work, so appointments weren’t being honored. Unfortunately, I never received any notification that my appointment had been canceled.
After that, I came to this post office hoping they might be able to fit me in as a walk-in. Thankfully, they did! The passport agent was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He made what started as a very stressful day into a great experience.
Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help. If I lived closer, this would definitely be the only post office I’d go to. 😊”
