“I generally have a very positive experience in the store. The product is well displayed and attractive to the eye. Two issues a) some of the stafff is amazing, some either don't want to be there or don't want to help me b) the sizing. So many pretty suede pieces now for example, nothing in 16. I don't want to hear you can order online and return for free. Most women in US are above size 12, it wouldn't kill Madewell to order 14s and 16s.”
“I have been a Talbots customer for nearly three decades and although there is only one store left in my local area, I am happy to say it still offers stellar customer service, a well-organized and inviting shopping environment and, best of all, a wide selection of petite clothing. I rediscovered Talbots as a preferred shopping destination this past Spring when looking for a white jean jacket. The website indicated that they had only one in stock, so I called the store and the sales staff who answered, Julie, found it and said she would put it on hold for me. When I got to the store, the jacket was there as promised, and I was able to try it on before purchasing. I have since been back to the store a number of times and have ordered items online. While not all of their designs are my cup of tea, I have been able to find many stylish and quality pieces to add to my wardrobe. If a return needs to be made, there is no problem and the company, in fact, has a 60-day return policy, generous compared to most other retailers who are now limiting returns to 30 days. “I don't normally shop in store at Ferragamo, and certainly not this store. But the experience I had shopping here definitely made me start thinking that I should start coming here more often. I received a tie as a gift, but the style of the tie did not suit me well. So I came to this location, and the Brand Embassedors welcomed me to exchange the tie. Normally, in these kind of high fashion stores, the associates are very up-tight, but that was the opposite of what I experienced here at Ferragamo in Manhasset. The second I walked into the boutique I was greeted by smiles, and there was definitely no one hovering over as I looked through their fanominal tie selection. Thank to all the people working in the boutique that day for really giving me such a great experience!”
