“OMG, super nice?. They have everything? If you can't find it in the 5 burrows or Jersey or Pennsylvania or Connecticut. Come to Five Below in Times Square they most likely have it????.”
“Nice 2 floor store with plenty to see and buy. You can take the stairs to the second floor or if stairs aren't for you, there's an elevator.?? There is even a big retro NYC Lego Taxi you can sit in. Pretty cool photo props and ops!
BEWARE: No usable restrooms
A store that sells items for children through adulthood should have a public restroom. It's just common sense, especially since some people spend an hour or more there creating personal LEGO® products.”
“The purple-haired man and the young lady who helped me choose a stroller were great. My husband should be happy to have such great staff.
In the same way, the other man sitting in front is very bad. Maybe he is the manager, and the after-sales service is very sloppy.”
“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”

“I recently celebrated my birthday in American Girl NYC. I'm a young adult doll collector from Europe and I'd been dreaming of getting the full AG experience since I was 8 years old. It was all I had hoped for!!I went with my best friend and the service at the New York Cafe was brilliant— our server, Christian, was incredibly nice and fun, and made our inner child feel positively spoiled. A true professional! Special thank you to him and Keyshawn for singing happy birthday and making our experience so much better. I had an amazing time and made some lovely memories. Until next time, American Girl!”
“Highly recommend Rumi's Kitchen. It was my first time there and the server showed me the ropes to their menu and everything was so good. Reasonable pricing too and the portion sizes are LARGE.”

“NYC's longest running board game & rpg shoppe (I think, my research is minimal on this) is literally floor to ceiling games. You can find not only new release, but titles from decades ago among it's packed shelves. This place is truly worth a visit when you are in Manhattan.”
“I was told by owner and sales team that in stock toys for January 1st 2026 pricing is locked 🔐🔐 in at 2025 prices no change as of yet quite a bit of 2026 restock and new 2026 toy 🧸 items stock was preorder and prepaid in full that Lock in the lower price s for the next six months of replenish stock and new items as well by at least 20 percent savings this helps kept the Toys affordable and available for the first six months of the new year of 2026! Some payment was done from profit s and some done by borrowing and leaving our their credit lines open for emergency only”
“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”
“This store may not have the largest footprint, but they make excellent use of the space they have. The walls are filled with well-organized displays and eye-catching box sets, and a few larger LEGO builds are showcased throughout the shop. Overall, it’s a fun and worthwhile stop for both locals and visitors.”
“The best stop in Queens for Your Smiski! Great collection at the Best price! Staff is super friendly! Store has a lot of figurine collection, super clean an and super organized! You’ll see me again. Teen will beg to make the trip! Totally worthy!!!!”
“Absolutely amazing toy store located right at the Rockefeller Building. Spanning across 2 floors, this outlet attracts mainly families, young adults and tourists from all over the world. The Jellycats are the obvious attraction for plenty of visitors here as they queue for a specialized experience with their soft toys with an even greater selection at level 2 available. There’s also a build a bear section, barbie doll, star wars, Pop figurine, magic cards and more cool items which brings you back to your childhood. Prices are steep and be prepared to spend on these unique and somewhat limited edition toys - you don’t see these definitely in other countries easily or at other toy stores here, at least I have not! Staff are all dolled up to the occasion, very interactive and really engages the crowds very well with their toy demonstration or simply being a an on-ground ambassador.”
“Small shop with many fun and great gift options. Service was excelent and very helpful. Would recommend this shop over most other ones on broadway. Got a free gift bag with purchase.”

“One of my favorite places in the whole world. An art store for the community run by artists ? Everyone always talks about places that are long since closed but I remember them all and A&C is like what if they were kind and welcoming, too.”
“It was a great experience as the cashier and everyone in the store was very friendly and chill and the wide amount of comics and manga's, toys, and others is just great and I'm happy on my Asuka soryu figure. Great experience defiantly recommend!”
“It’s a nice store has a lot of options for crafts supplies. Definitely worth checking out. Staff is very helpful and they know their way around so they can quickly find things for you. I also recommend calling them before going to ask if they have what you’re looking for just to save you a trip. But if you’re just browsing and not sure what you want, definitely check it out.”
“Went here a few months ago and was blown away by the spaciousness! Definitely more expensive than the other arcades and be prepared to spend more money. However, the merch and plushies are official and licensed, as far as I know this is the only arcade in flushing that does not have bootlegs so that may explain the higher price tag. I will say, I really liked the Lunar New Year promo they had and they should definitely have similar events more often to offset the difficulty and high cost-but at the same time, it's still skill and luck based!Machines are definitely harder, but ask employees for help! The last time we went, we were trying to win a derpy looking dinosaur, and it was very difficult (claw was too weak and plushie was very big and chubby) and the worker helped us reposition. The app did glitch and take away 2 tries for us that we weren't able to play, but the same worker helped us (I never got her name but she had glasses!). She was very encouraging and sweet and helped us win it!”
“I love that B&N is pet friendly. It's a great place to visit, browse for my next read, and take the fur-baby for a climate controlled walk through the aisles. If you or your dog get thirsty, you can stop at the Starbucks in the store for a drink and sit at the cafe tables or comfy chairs. My dog loved her pup-accino. Side note, taking a dog to such locations is also great for dog training, provided you hold the leash tight and remain aware of other dogs and people/children who may be fearful of dogs.”
“Practically grew up here when it was a small shop located in the basement of Hong Kong Supermarket way inthe back right corner. A Flushing staple for the card game enthusiasts.”

“i love this place, prices are on point and very fair, very knowledgeable about info. blast from the past and its just a few blocks away from home, best budget gamer spot, thank you for serving our community”
“We ordered Curved Organic Balloon Columns in our school colors, and the name of our school, for our Gala and they were absolutely perfect! In fact, they were better than we could have asked for. Thank you so much to Tiffany and the Balloon Saloon team for all of your help! Tiffany, specifically, was fantastic and got to our order inquiry promptly which was greatly appreciated as our event was fast approaching. We will certainly work with Balloon Saloon for future events!”
“Just ordered chaise lounge outdoor tufted cushion replacement . It appears this is exactly what color and dimensions I want . Looking forward to receiving this order . Company has good offerings but a little more trouble to get through to placing order . Thanks !”
“Great local comic book shop in the fashionable Greenpoint Williamsburg area just a few minutes from a subway station.
The shop is not large but full of back issues as well as newer comics, cards, and toys.
I come mainly to chat with the friendly staff and use their very convenient comic book pressing service !”

“I gave this store 5 stars because the service and prices are good, and they sell all kinds of sports cards, other games like Yu Gi oh, and others. Besides, people can play card games in the basement. I would recommend this place to everyone. Also, the store sells a lot of historical things.”
“Cool game store. Really nice dudes at front counter and very courteous. Be advised NO WARHAMMER and no model glue. They have paint but again it’s not Citadel. However, lots of board games and play space in the rear. Seems cool but needs the 40K to make me a common.”
“An absolutely magical experience! The Disney Store in NY is full of charm, great merchandise, and friendly staff. From classic characters to the latest favorites, there’s something for every Disney fan.”
“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“This is has been our families favorite book store and children's gift shop for the last 11 years.Last night Halloween in Harlem was just perfect.Marcus Meets Malcom event was truly a Memorable Moment for us”
“BOOK-OFF is a pre-owned/new store focusing on a wide variety of collectibles, however this location was mainly focused on Anime/Japanese Otaku culture. The store itself is quite small, with it located on a 2nd floor, but they use the space quite well.
They have anime figures contained within a clear glass shelf on the exterior, which is labeled by series such as Love Live, Demon Slayer, and more. They also had a trade-in spot to trade in figures, as well as a wall for video games and a wall for Pokemon TCG Singles. They also have Tomica cars at this location, which is a rare find in the US and not found at the BOOK-OFF in Manhattan.
The space is pretty packed with customers, so it may be hard to maneuver around. The only real gripe I have with the store is with their pre-owned figure section stored inside bins. It's sorta hard to tell what figures are what in the bins because of how small the space is, you can't really take them out to look and have to rummage through the bin. There is also a risk of broken pieces and damage with how they are stored, so even though the prices are reasonable for pre-owned, I probably wouldn't buy those figures.”
“Love this store! It's clean & organized. They have a SUPER employee named Xavier! I didn't even see any other employee in the store this today (4th of July)!”
