“I had an experience today with a USPS carrier named Ash that deserves to be recognized.
I happened to be outside when she came by and asked about mail I had placed on hold for the past five days, expecting it would all be delivered today. She wasn’t aware of it at the time and explained it would likely come with my regular carrier on Monday. While I was disappointed, I understood.
What happened next completely changed my perspective.
Later that same day, on a Saturday afternoon, Ash returned on her own time to make it right. I wasn’t home, but she delivered all of my held mail and left a handwritten note that read, “Sorry, I didn’t check the hold mail, it was my mistake, so I had to fix my mistake.”
That kind of ownership is incredibly rare. No excuses, no passing it along, no waiting until Monday. She took full responsibility and went out of her way to correct it immediately.
In a world where it’s easy to do the minimum, Ash chose to go above and beyond. Her work ethic, integrity, and pride in what she does are exactly what great service is all about. She turned a small inconvenience into a memorable, positive experience.
USPS is fortunate to have someone like Ash representing them. She sets a standard that others should strive to follow.”

“Never had a problem here. There’s always a familiar clerk at the window — a Caucasian female with darker hair that’s always been pleasant and helpful.
Yes, it’s rather inconvenient that the service window/counter closes down entirely for 90 minutes Monday-Friday for lunch, but ALL of the smaller POs in this area do that.”
“the lady that helped me before close today was wonderful. i sent out a box to my boyfriend who is in the Army overseas and she was super polite and patient with helping me get that to him. she is a very kind woman and was sincere with each customer!! i did not catch her name but i appreciated her a lot.”

“Well, first and foremost every time I have a package I feel very delighted knowing I am going to see a person who takes their job seriously. Jason is a AMAZING postal worker and BEATS any other locations. You can tell he loves his job and enjoys helping his customers. Even the way he uses such care on the items you give him. Always greets me with open arms and a smile. I will ALWAYS be loyal to this location.”
“Excellent post office. Brand new facility. You can either mail it yourself or go in and the Postal worker will help you.
The staff is exceptional. It's extremely well stocked with boxes & other mailing items like bubble envelopes, etc.
Google does not bring you to the building or to the entrance. Go a bit further down the hill. The entrance is the first entrance on the right as you come around the road to the building - it's a ONE WAY! Google is bringing you to the exit & IT'S ONE WAY - THE WRONG WAY!”

The delivery people are friendly, the post office employees are very kind and willing to work with you, and they are able to adjust during extenuating circumstances. I’ve been waiting for over two weeks for my package to leave IL, and I received it less than two hours after New Windsor post office received it from the area distribution center. “Love this post office. I’m always in here, sometimes I just stop in to say hello. Ashley goes above and beyond for her customers. She has fixed a few of my mistakes on packages. They get lines, but they work hard and are always pleasant. They only have two people, if they had extra help it wouldn’t get like that. Also most post offices only have two clerks. And they all get lines. This is problem with how the post office runs things , not the employees who are stuck alone at times. Give them a break.”
