“I called to order a sub, and somehow landed in a parallel universe where bread is a stage and my phone is the producer. The sub drama—SOS machine beeps, deli ladies in masks or not, adds spice to lunch-hour theater. I’d rather see their faces than the mask, because hygiene matters and teeth matter more. The subs are awesome, worth the wait, like edible concerts in crusty costumes. I can cut one into four chunks for four hungry souls, a family in a bun. Sub love, laughter, and four shared bites. 10/10, would epic again. I figured I’d make a little more humorous than some of those uptight Stones!!!?”

“Outstanding Ice cream, more natural tasting and not loaded with excess sugar. They have many cheese, milk pickles honey, hot dogs, books, gifts, of what you dont see in corporate supermarket. This is an extremely clean place. An excellent welcomed addition to the community, staff are friendly and helpful. When the family returns from overseas I will bring them there. I POUNDED A DOUBLE SCOOP HARD PECAN CONE. I LOVE IT. IT IS NOT OVERLY SWEET AND I dont feel fat or bloated after eating it. I would recommend a string of some color, maybe green across the header on front porch roof. I think this would be beautiful. Support this local company and not corporate America.”

“I love DG. There are 4 Dollar Generals near me. I have only been to the one in Broadalbin a few times. However, I shop at Mayfield and Gloversvilles Dollar Generals, EVERY DAY. No joking. It's convenient, prices are excellent, and it has many products that I like to use at a acceptable cost. Mayfield and Gloversvilles North Main Street stores, I pretty much know the entire staff by name. As soon as I walk in, I am welcomed and we joke, laugh, and have pleasant conversation. “I wish they would bring back real bagels.. selling imitation bulky rolls with bagel toppings and seeds doesn't make them resemble or taste like bagels... they taste like bread!... you had the best bagels in the entire area... not anymore. That's like putting frosting on a kaiser roll and calling it a donut!! The label doesn't make the recipe..”

“Meat manager Andy L was amazing. He was supposed to be gone from his shift. He saw me waiting at the butcher and asked how he could help me. I explained I have tried a few times to get a meat plan. That where I used to live we would just ask for one and they would prepare it in 15 mins. He went and prepared a meat plan for me so I wouldn't have to come back yet again. Thank you so much Andy your amazing. Great customer service.”

“Bowman's is a family-owned business if you think you're getting a good deal at the grocery store For your meat . Try Bowman's freshest meat in town Absolutely. They even have things prepared to make it easier for the working class. Just remember their hours are only till 1:00 pm . Today was boneless skinless stuffed chicken breast.”
“I'm not a huge fan of our local Walmart. We go for necessities. I did score some great clearance deals on a recent visit. You really have to look at those mark down tags though! More often than not, the mark down is only two dollars...kind of misleading. The store, is as you would expect. This particular visit was early in the day, so not terribly busy. We generally seem to find decent parking, regardless of when we visit. My only complaint is always the same...why so many registers if only one or two is only ever open?!”
