“Pittsford Auto proves that honest car repair shops still exist. I had taken my Chevy Trax to a dealer with a check engine light and had received a $4500 repair quote (turbo, water pump, oil leak).
Right away Pittsford Auto could do the same repairs for about half the money. Very open and pragmatic about repair options.
On the day itself they found that the dealer had misdiagnosed the water pump and oil leak and the service was even cheaper. Again very honest about what was and wasn't wrong with my car. They have gained a long-term customer!
Unfortunately the car developed an oil leak on the repaired part. I had it repaired somewhere else as I was out of town. I talked about it with Pittsford Auto and they promptly apologized and refunded the repair bill.”

“2024Q1: My BMW racing buddy heard about Baris from a compatriot at our local BMW Club. He started getting his Bimmer tires here, and, based on his many good experiences with Baris Auto, he turned me on to this place. My daughter's fiancee had taken her car to his family's 20-year relationship mechanic, and, just by eye they said they would fail the car without new tires. They did the exact same thing to him with his NYSI the week before and he had to buy a set of new tires from them. As a result of this delay, my daughter's inspection expired, which would give a dishonest garage the exact kind of leverage they would use to manipulate a customer into buying services beyond what they need. I had my daughter (a young single female without automobile knowledge -- the kind dishonest mechanics prey upon) bring her car to Baris for NYSI. Baris carefully measured the remaining tire tread and, according to the specifications in the law, passed the car. This week I had an identical experience with Baris' NYSI measurement of my brake pads. Upon seeing how the honest, by-the-book, vehicle service & customer service experts at Baris handled matters, the fiancee switched to Baris. He got his father to switch too. Starting with the BMW CCA racers, that's at least four new families and ten new cars for Baris, just by word of mouth.”
“I want to take a moment to share my experience with the amazing staff and management team at Delta Sonic in Penfield, NY.
On Monday, I accidentally lost my wallet at the store. I didn’t even realize it was missing until two days later.....by then, I was going crazy trying to figure out where I had last used it. Eventually, I remembered I had tipped the kind gentleman who cleaned the inside of my car, so I called Delta Sonic to check.To my relief, the management team told me they had found a wallet that matched my description. When I went in to see it, it turned out to be mine with nothing missing. In fact, there was even a bit more cash in it than I remembered having!
I can’t express how much this experience meant to me. I had been going through a tough time personally and had started to lose faith in humanity. But what the staff at Delta Sonic and that honest person did completely restored my faith. Their integrity, honesty, and genuine care really touched my heart.

“I like this establishment. There is always the same lady working on nights when I stop in she is very pleasant. I always stop in here for a coffee after my delivery right beside them. The coffee is always good. I always grab a snack as well. I especially like it because I can get my semi in easily without disrupting the gas bar. Always a good experience here.”

“We have been taking our cars to Craig Barrese for years. My recent experience is just one example of why. We had a sudden failure of the starter on our SUV just a day before we were to load it up and head out on a multi-week vacation. Craig diagnosed it over the phone and despite being booked out for several weeks said he would try to take a look at it if we could get it towed in. I called AAA and waited for a call back from the garage. When closing time came I called to get a status report. I was told that not only had they made time to look at it but we’re working overtime to finish up replacing the starter. I rushed over to pick up the car so they could go home. As I picked it up I was told that because they had no open bays in the garage, they had to work on it in the parking lot (despite some rain showers that afternoon.) Now that is what I call service above and beyond!”

The machine wasn't working and he went above and beyond, contacting managers and even letting other employees know I was going to keep checking in. 2 days before Christmas someone got the machine working and I was happy. “They have an excellent dunkin donuts drive through that I use at least once per week. I use to use the car wash, but it is no longer toothless, so I will not use it. And as far as gas goes I have nothing against theirs per, but I now own a plugin and only used a total of 42 gallons of gas in 12,000 miles”

“Out of many gas stations the pumps shut off so I have to hold it and not pull the lever up all the way. I stopped at Kwik Fill and I was surprised it never shut off until it was full. I have CRPS so standing can be an issue and also, they have great prices compared to other gas stations. So now I mostly go to Kwik Fill ?”

“Best sub in Rochester. Colon Kicker ... Reminds me of the Italian Beef sandwiches you can get in Chicago. Bread is seedless and has medium softness maybe slightly on the soft side. It's thick enough where it soaks up all the juice from the Italian beef while keeping it's structure. I've only tried their warm subs so far, but they have all been amazing!”

I run Sunoco fuel in my car (have been for years), and they sell Sunoco at very competitive prices. My car's engine can tell the difference.

Prices on sundries are on par with competition. They have ethanol free gas at the western-most pumps. Place gets rocking around lunch time.”
