“I was on the Massapequa Preserve “bicycle path” and far from home when I noticed my rear tire pressure was low. I rode to the old Sunrise Bicycle where I, a many others I know, got their bicycles as kids decades ago.As soon as I opened the door I was pleasantly greeted by Bill. He immediately offered to take a look. I rolled my trusty old (1990’s) TREX Hybrid in and he put her up on the rack. He topped off both tires pressure. He quickly noticed my rear brake was off center and did a necessary adjustment.I was off and riding within minutes. It was like having my own pit crew.I totally recommend using this local gem of bike shop for bicycle purchases and maintenance.☮️ Thank you again Bill.”

Fast forward to the recent blizzard, when my snowblower unfortunately failed and needed repair. Because I had such a great experience when I originally purchased the machine, I contacted Merrick Bicycles again—and I’m glad I did.
They picked up the snowblower on a Monday morning, repaired it quickly, and delivered it back to my driveway fully tested once again. The turnaround time was impressive, and the repair was completed at a very reasonable price.
