“I don’t know how the rest of the facility is, but my experience was With a wonderful lady named Vanessa if you’re looking to get your passport done ask for Vanessa she’s awesome. She will literally guide you step-by-step. Answer any questions and you have she won’t look at you funny or look at you like you’re stupid. She’ll actually be helpful and kind and compassionate about it I’ve been to a lot of government facilities whether it be the DMV again the USPS traffic court, ect. I always leave saying the worker was always mean or rude or was just not welcoming at all. Vanessa is the opposite”

They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”

“Who goes to post office anymore but sometimes you have to I’ve been here to drop aparcels for Amazon and mainly we’ve been here for the kids passports. The staff here was very friendly with us when they did the passport application. pictures always take time so you have to go through the pain of taking the pictures again and again and again, but They were very patient with us. My children are blind some of them and it is hard to position them for the passport pictures but these people were very cooperative and I’m very thankful to them.”

They always say they don't know or that it can't be done. When I call and speak to a USPS agent, they send me to the address where I sent the mail. When I get there, no one is available to help. They only receive packages, and they deny you anything else you need... horrible!! I've been fighting for a package for 3 months, and in the end, I'll lose my package and the international shipping money because they won't help...”

I had a great experience at this (Carle Place) post office yesterday. The postal worker was very polite and patient as she handled all the mail I had to send out. The office is very clean and inviting (again, if you've been at post offices in Brooklyn you definitely can make the comparison). I came in the early afternoon on a weekday and found a lot of street parking.”
