“Virtually every hobby shop ive been to always has some degree of dirt or clutter, but not this one. This is an immaculate, well organized and well stocked shop and should be the first stop for anyone looking to start a hobby”
“After my grandpa passed, my family was met with the tremendous task of cleaning out an old man’s home! After stumbling upon some coins and a stamp collection, we took it to ACSB, as it was the first result to pop up on Google. Boy, were we lucky! Rich, Pat, and Eric were incredibly knowledgeable, and handled the transaction with professionalism and honesty! Not only did we learn something about our goods, but we learned about the history of the shop itself! In fact, we were so pleased with their service, that we went straight back to my late grandfather’s to bring back more stuff the very same day! If you’re looking for help on anything collectible, these folks are you people. I highly recommend!”
“I highly recommend bringing your coins here. Jeff the owner is efficient, professional and honest. I took my coins to other coin dealers to compare the money he was offering me for the coins. I went to him twice and he beat competitors by up to 20 percent”
“This is the best comic shop on the island. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly, if they don't have it in stock and it isn't a wild collector's item, they'll happily order it.”
“My fiancé and I recently stopped by this card shop while visiting Long Island, and I can honestly say it completely exceeded our expectations. I’ve recently gotten back into collecting Pokémon cards, and it’s become harder and harder to find truly good card shops — this place is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
The shop itself is incredibly well organized, with a wide variety of cards ranging from Pokémon to other anime and sports cards. The atmosphere immediately stood out — welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. The staff made us feel comfortable right away and gave us plenty of space to browse at our own pace with absolutely no pressure to buy anything.
One thing that really impressed us was that they even offered us the option to sit in a separate room with couches, tables, and big-screen TVs playing sports while we looked through single cards. That kind of thoughtfulness and customer experience is rare and truly appreciated. The staff was also extremely knowledgeable and even offers grading services, which is a huge plus.
I especially want to give a big shoutout to Derek (hope I’m spelling his name correctly!) for his outstanding customer service. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about the hobby, which made the experience even better.
Overall, this shop has an amazing vibe, top-tier customer service, and a great selection. Whether you’re a serious collector or just browsing, this is a must-visit spot. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.”
“The store had plenty of quality items and a helpful staff. There weren’t that many people working there, so I wasn’t sure if I’d get any help, but a friendly staff member quickly pointed out another, who answered all of my questions and gave me some extra advice. I would go back.”
“Really nice local card store with a good selection and friendly staff. The store was organized and easy to look around in, and they had a lot of different cards and products to choose from. Overall a good experience and I’d come back again.”
“Phoenix Comic Shop is an awesome spot for any comic book collector. The owner was super nice, welcoming, and really helpful throughout my visit. You can tell he actually cares about the hobby and takes time to make sure you find what you’re looking for instead of just trying to make a sale. The prices are also very good Whether you’re hunting for new issues, back issues, or just browsing, there’s a solid selection and very good variety Overall, I’d definitely recommend Phoenix Comic Shop to any comic fan. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again. I loved it !”

“If you've never visited Markest Stamp Company, then I HIGHLY encourage you to visit and see what they have to offer! Because:
1. Sharon and Mark are the most easy-going and knowledgeable people I've met. Their familiarity with stamps is a cornerstone to me as I embark on the hobby of stamp collecting.
2. Sharon....oh my, where do I begin? Sharon has ALWAYS been very kind and professional with me. I often stumble in my attempt to explain what I'm after as a beginner, but she is a fountain of experience and know-how ... and nonstop patience (thank you, Sharon!).
3. And let's not forget an essential part that's vital to the beginning hobbyist: PRICE. Markest Stamp Company has the very fairest prices in the stamp market.
4. They're simply unmatched! Whether you're a beginner or seasoned collector, I recommend them above all others!
God bless ~
Mark”
“I heard great things about the store so I decided to visit I immediately fell in love with the staff, the community and little by little I started going there more often
I forgot my one piece binder at the store(I know I know how dare I forget my binder)
Reached out To them and they told me not to worry, they had it and it’s behind the counter.
I recommend this place to anybody
That’s looking for one piece and any other TCG related games
They have earned a lifetime customer”
“This specific michaels location is pretty big and they have a huge selection. The only thing I did not like is that the staff could've been just a little nicer.”
“My daughter had her birthday party here, and we had such a wonderful experience.
Teacher Sylvia was amazing! She prepared everything so thoroughly and beautifully decorated the party room with balloons. The staff even asked about my daughter’s favorite color and decorated everything to match — such a thoughtful touch.
The painting class was fantastic. All of the kids loved painting, and the parents enjoyed participating together as well.
We truly had a great party at Michael’s. Thank you so much for making my daughter’s day so special!”

“Awesome local business. It was an absolute pleasure meeting and dealing with Doc. He was educated, personable and showed a lot of passion for the card industry. I am glad we found this local small business and will surely be back.”
“I really enjoy coming to this store especially with the amount of arts and crafts they have in stock. I really enjoy talking to Mr.Melts, he’s very helpful with me ?”
“I have visited their shop on Long Island and it is really nice! I bought some O-96 curves from their shop that day! Prices were reasonable and the people were pleasant and helpful. I later bought more O-96 track from their website, and the experience was the same as the one I had in their store. Would definitely check them out if you are on Long Island.”
“Friendly staff. They always offer to help at checkout. They are knowledgeable about discounts, sales, and coupons. I love browsing the seasonal section as there's always something new!”
“Coming to this store even in torrential downpour is a ray of sunshine to my day. I was looking for some cards for my Magic: the Gathering deck that I have been work on for months and Danny who was working at the time was very respectful and knowledgeable in the subject. Also people within the store helped me with free cards and knowledge as well. With board games, popular card games, funko pop, 40k Warhammer set and figurines, this place is a one stop shop for anything pop culture and enjoy a conversation or two about your favorite anime. I enjoy coming here, and will come back many days in the future.”
“This is the best store on Long Island! They have the best merchandise at the best prices. I even pulled a VeeFriends Nuke there the other day. Highly recommend checking them out!”
“In store pickup was ready for me when I arrived and the staff helped me find a few more items for my project while I was there. Nice to see a store with more than 2 staff scheduled to work! hope corporate continues that trend.”

“My friends and I had a great time at this sports card shop. They have a really nice lounge area where you can sit back and get the full hobby experience by ripping boxes on-site. It was nice seeing the young kids enjoying themselves there as well. The owners were professional, friendly and offered great prices. I highly recommend checking this place out!!!”
