“Took my kid for a blood test here and FYI: they have the vein finder! Kid did not need it though as the phlebotomist was AMAZING. I would recommend a stronger parent to go with the kid though because you have to put the child on your lap while the phlebotomist does her thing. She was a magician, and service was quick since I had made the appointment online, which I highly recommend.”
“This place is better than my regular physicians office! Clean, professional and prompt service. I’ve gone several times already and have always been impressed. They follow up with you too. I had a uti and they called me after they checked the bacteria to change the antibiotics to one that would do a better job killing the bacteria. Don’t hesitate and it’s not usually that busy. I’ve always been seen within 20 minutes.”

“If you are a Northwell Health patient or not, this is the place to go, not only does the ordering Dr get your results back within a day, this is a walk-in Lab and the wait times are very short. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and most importantly, gentle to get you in, take your blood, and get you out very quickly. People who are not good with the sight of blood, they do make it a good experience, just look away, a small pinch and inside of 30 seconds you are done and walking out.”
“I had an amazing experience at the LabCorp inside Walgreens in Oceanside. Rose Marie was the physician who helped me, and she was truly excellent. She was quick, friendly, and you can instantly tell she has a real passion for her job. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood how the process worked from start to finish. I’m personally very afraid of needles, but I didn’t even feel the needle go in or come out — that’s how gentle she was. She also gave me words of encouragement the whole time, which made a huge difference and kept me calm. This was honestly such a great and comforting experience. I will definitely only be coming back to this LabCorp specifically for Rose Marie. Highly recommend!”

“Mita is outstanding she went above and beyond to get the correct diagnosis codes so my insurance will cover it. My doctors office did not do it correctly. She spoke to my mds office asked to fax it many times and still my mds office did it wrong! Finally Mita got them to do it Right!! This is the only lab I come to! “Went to get a series of blood tests ordered by my doctor here. Very clean facility and efficient staff. Even though they use vacutainer needles to collect blood instead of butterfly needles, the technician was quite good and did not leave my arm sore. I could quickly go back to work that morning without any discomfort. Pre-registration online helps ensure you do not have to wait long. Be sure to bring your requisition form printed or faxed for convenience, as they will ask for it.”
“The lab tech took her time with my daughter. She explained all procedures and kept my daughter talking as a distraction while drawing the blood. I highly recommend this location and kudos to the lab tech. I wish we got her name but she should Be recognized for her professionalism, patience and dedication to her job. “I was terrified to get my blood work done at my PCP since the nurse practitioner was having trouble finding a vein to draw blood. I opted to walk in at this Northwell lab in Plainview. I am so glad I did.Claudia, I believe is the Physician assistant that works at this location was more than happy to complete my lab requests. She has over 20 years of experience and I didn't even know my blood was drawn. She is a professional. I felt so comfortable. This is this is the kind of assurance and assistance that make us want to keep coming. Thank you Claudia for making the process so smooth. Yes, I trust the Universe that everything will be fine. It all starts with meeting with wonderful people!”
“I have notoriously bad veins and it can make getting blood drawn really challenging and uncomfortable but Jessica was amazing! She was kind, gentle and a real pro. I made an appointment ahead of time and didn’t have to wait. It was super fast.”
“Facility is nice, plenty of parking. Park at the back of the building near entrance that is closest to the office (located on the first floor). Receptionist greeted us and treated us professionally. The blood technician, Betty, was very careful, patient and kind as she took blood from my elderly father who has very thin veins. She had to try twice and finally found a vein on top of his right forearm using a baby needle, most importantly not causing any pain.”
“I came here for a pre-employment drug test, and I was there when they opened. There were probably 10 or more people waiting in line but the office was very fast and efficient. The employees let us in as soon as they opened, and got to work right away, checking in three people at a time and worked through the line fast. They were professional and kind. I was very happy with my experience, especially since I was worried it would be very busy and a long wait.”

“The phlebotomist was the nicest person! This will be the place that I will go to for my blood work from now on. No wonder it was so crowded! It's a small place with one phlebotomist. If you don't have an appointment, you can wait for awhile. If you have an appointment, there might be still a little wait but it's really understandable considering how crowded the place is.”
“Quest Diagnostics Cedarhurst is a great location. It is very clean and runs efficiently. The phlembotomy staff are courteous, professional and adept at performing blood draws. Wait time is usually no more than 15 minutes. Keep up the good work Quest.”
“I wish there were more that one check-in machine. It takes a few minutes to check in, and some people take even longer to figure it out. Plus, you have to find the email with the QR code and get out your insurance card and ID.
I don't get how I got there 10 minutes early for my online appointment, but people who came after me got called first.

“I don't need an appointment and just walk in, sometimes there are two people working here and the waiting time will be short, Almost done quickly and then the next guest ,if there is only one person, I need to wait but no complaints, I see her no times to answer the phone, If you have any questions, come directly and ask, or call the website’s customer service number.
