199 Main St, NanuetNanuet, NY - super fab mochi donuts and other treats! This is not your run-of-the-mill café. They have various coffee drinks and teas/bubble teas, sure, but also special pastries like a croffle (croissant + waffle) and the occasional random specials that the owner brings out at her creative whim, such as cheesy garlic muffin scones. Be sure to try the bibinka which is a baked Filipino rice cake that's kind of like a muffin, and definitely get it with the salted egg if that's available. On the savory side, there are rice bowls with various proteins (adobo chicken, beef bulgogi, shrimp tempura, salmon teriyaki) and onigirazu which is a sushi sandwich. Too bad they're only open Fri-Sun, as I'd love to eat study sip & work on weekdays, and not all menu items are available all the time. The foods are made fresh in small batches and whatever is there is there (and gone when they're gone), but you can call or reach out to them on social media for requests or to place a larger order in advance if you want specific quantities and flavors. The space can also be rented for events or karaoke! (has surround sound speakers).
