Everything in there is so carefully picked out, and you can really tell how much Patty (the owner) cares about what she brings in.
I’m super picky about what I give my dog, and I was honestly blown away by how much effort goes into choosing healthy, high-quality stuff. Patty knows where everything comes from and truly believes in every product she carries. My favorite thing? The human-grade dog cookies — my dog is obsessed, and I feel great giving them to him because they’re healthy and preservative-free.

“I had never even heard of Central Park Puppies when I began searching for my Cavapoo. The site came up when I did a Google search. I never knew anyone who used them, had no referrals, and no background. All I know is that from the second I contacted Central Park Puppies, I was provided feedback, pictures, videos, etc. I dealt with Ash and she was a pleasure- her responses were quick, she had all the details I wanted, and even reached out to the breeder for additional videos of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Central Park Puppies! My husband and I kind of jumped into our purchase, but every step of the way was simple, straightforward, and pleasurable. It has been a little over a month that we have had our pup and I still keep in touch with Ash. She loves getting updates for all the pups she places in homes, which shows how much she cares about these puppies. “If you have an anxious dog, look no further than Amanda!!!. She specializes in German Shepherds & other anxious breeds and truly understands the breed's unique needs. My girl is incredibly nervous, but Amanda takes the time and dedication to make her feel safe and calm. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her grooming she leaves as happy as she comes in ! Sometimes she doesn’t wanna come back home with me lol I highly recommend her services! Keep up the great work! I am so happy she stayed after the new ownership ?”

“I’ve been a customer with Farmingville Feed for approximately 6 months. I use them to get my mini-dachshund groomed every few months. I have always been comfortable with each grooming session, and have always been pleased with how my pup looks. Laurie is friendly, attentive, and always handles my dog with care. Laurie’s grooming is always done efficiently, and my pup looks adorable and smells amazing every time! Overall, I would highly recommend Farmingville Feed to anyone in need of a professional pet grooming service that is reliable and top-notch!”

“I am giving them 4 1/2. Stars !!!!!!!!!! I have been in the store about 20 times since I adopted my Lab puppy in march of 23. Mostly because they have a large variety of dog products, food, bully sticks toys etc. . Their prices are a bit higher or equal to that of the chain stores. But they carry so many items in stock on their shelves it's worth it. Example! My pup is a chewer, loves bully sticks, they have them in all sizes, shapes imaginable including a three foot bully stick. You're lucky if you can find any in the big box stores without ordering on line. I mostly shop in the Selden store, and have been helped by many different employees, all of them have been extremely polite and courteous every time. Never had a problem with any of their employees. Just wanted to mention this because of all the negative reviews on their employees.”

“I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. Thank you so much to Cheryll and Long Island Feline Adoption Center!!! You are the BEST!!”
“Was in town and needed a grooming for Aspen on short notice. Was able to lock in a time the day before and the cut was superb! Tiffany & the staff were very friendly and great communicating any delays, pick up times, & detailed on what was done at pick up. Glad they enjoyed Aspen’s silliness (you can tell they enjoy what they do). TY!!”
“I have to be honest, when looking for a rehab I skipped this one because of the low stars. The one we picked was awful. I had to pull my father out. a friend then recommended Island. When I first walked in, it was 10pm. I noticed how absolutely clean the facility was. The staff was welcoming. They made my father feel so welcomed. Everyone is so nice. They communicate every aspect of my fathers care. The physical therapists are great. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. My father is a picky eater and they do not stop trying different food so that he eats. the nurses are awesome. I can't say enough how great they all are. Not one issue. The staff answers quickly to the call button. They make sure my father is comfortable. If you are looking for a rehab for a loved one, I strongly recommend Island.”

“Planned to bring my 3 cats for flea baths while the exterminator was bombing out our home. The guy working was really knowledgeable and told me he couldn’t see any on them. I had used Advantage on them 3 weeks prior and didn’t know it would have been too soon for a flea bath if they had needed one. I’m glad he was honest because he said it could have been dangerous for my cats to get the bath. Who knows, other places might have not cared and done it anyway. He let me board them and the dogs while the exterminator took care of the fleas, very nice guy. He has a new customer”
“Dr Jeffrey Kramer, at the Commack location, was so warm and friendly. When I went to Vetco in Commack on October 28, 2024 at 5:45 pm, the doctor was totally obnoxious. I'm sure Vetco can look back and see who he was. The young man who assisted Dr Kramer, Denzel, was so kind and gentle with my 12 year old pup. I'm grateful to them both. ?”

“I've had a fantastic experience at South Shore Grooming! Janice is simply the best. I've been to several places locally, and I love how Janice only has a couple of dogs at one time, which makes me feel so much better leaving my dog there—there’s no overload of dogs. The salon is spotless, and my 10-year-old Shih Tzu can be a bit feisty, but Janice always knows just how to handle her. She comes out looking absolutely beautiful every time! Plus, Janice is impressively quick, making the entire process smooth and efficient. Thank you, Janice Chesney—my dog smells great and looks amazing! Highly recommend her services!”

“I love this location, everyone is always so friendly. I also feel like the individuals that I've spoken to about pet care really know what they are talking about. They have done a great job in updating many of the care brochures over the years.
I still believe Petsmart as a whole should really evaluating the methods in which some of these animals are obtained. Responsible breeding is one thing, but there are still too many people who are not doing right by the animals. They need to be sure they are not supporting anyone like that.”
