A nice place to eat korean bbq. It's a pricey place and the food was good. The experience is interesting. If you have the money a good place but not a must do. Some of the server could be more polite.

Came here skeptical whether it was michelin star worthy but I was provided with amazing food and amazing service worthy of a michelin star. Honestly for the food, the wagyu add on to the butchers feast by far made the meal for all of us.I would give this place a michelin purely for the amazing service they provided us. They were a few minutes late for our reservation so they provided us with complimentary champagne and appetizer. Our server was very knowledgeable of our meal and did not miss a beat on providing us the best service.Would come again as it was overall an experience I wish others can have.

A Michelin starred Korean steakhouse. The kimchi paella is very good and so is the wagyu and crispy bacon. Go for these. The other steaks were good but i would say not out of this world, though the wagyu does shine bright. Banchan also very good. It is a famous spot and very hard to get reservations but do try. You might meet a celebrity there. We saw John Hamm (of the Man Men fame).

It's very difficult to make a reservation. It was difficult to make a reservation on Google Maps, so I made a reservation over the phone. The meat was cooked really well and I enjoyed it. I had a set (for 2 people) with additional wagyu and fried rice, and the portion was quite large.

I have waited so long to try to come here. Getting a reservation for two is really difficult and I would expect to eat either at 5pm or from 10pm-12am. Overall, I was unimpressed. The stews and kimchi were so salty I couldn't eat more than a bite. I liked the meat but it definitely was not worth $72 per person. I ordered a second drink in the middle of my meal and it didn't come until after the meal was over which was really annoying. The ambiance and vibes are great and I'm glad I tried it. But I will definitely be going somewhere else for kbbq

Everything was perfect but I also need to comment on one of the sides that comes with the meat - the kimchi soup. If you like borscht, it’s heavenly - save room for it. Service was impeccable. Really perfect night out

Could not recommend Cote enough. Came here for a celebration and had a perfect evening. We ordered the butcher’s feast and everything was delicious. Service was attentive and incredibly thoughtful; it made the night all the more special.

Let me start off by saying that the food at this restaurant was excellent, and our waiter was not only friendly but also provided outstanding recommendations. We ordered The Legend of the Seven Jades and three orders of Steak Omakase.However, my rating is influenced by an incident that occurred right as I entered the restaurant. There's a wooden platform at the entrance where guests are seated. As I was tying my shoe on this platform, an employee loudly instructed me to 'PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOE FROM THE ANTIQUE WOOD.' I quickly apologized and removed my foot, but not before noticing several guests in the waiting area staring at us. The employee walked away without another word, leaving me feeling quite embarrassed as we waited for our reserved table.While the food was delightful, this initial interaction did affect the overall experience.

We had a reservation at 6:45 on a Saturday during peak hours. Although we had arrived early, we had to wait for quite a while to be seated and for the food to come out. We ordered a la carte and had the skirt steak, dry aged NY strip, and the wagyu cote steak with the kimchi stew. Although the banchan was nothing to write home about, the meat was incredible and the skirt steak was my personal favorite. I will warn you that the wagyu is very rich so I would recommend ordering the smaller size. The manager, Irivette, stopped by to apologize for the long wait, which we greatly appreciated, and gave us the kimchi wagyu paella on the house, which was REALLY GOOD!!! I’ve been to most of the Korean BBQ spots in NYC and this is one of my favorites. Unlike many others, it has great ventilation and high ceilings so you don’t leave smelling too much of meat. It has a nice vibe but is a little on the louder side. Overall, enjoyed the experience.

Walked in and got arranged in the outdoor cabin space, it’s actually an individual room with only my table. Ordered the omakase set, beef is great, oyster and the egg toast at the beginning, as typical types of omakase and Michelin dishes, seemed a bit out of place to pair with the actual main character which is the incredible beef cuts, the wagyu piece at the end literally made me wanna cry. Staffs were all super super amazing, enjoyed the time.

Cote is an excellent Korean steakhouse offering an elegant and elevated full Korean BBQ experience. We had the butcher’s feast which comes with all the sides you need from kimchi, to egg soufflé, tofu soup and more. The quality of the meat is excellent but what sets this place apart if the top notch service from maître D, Juan who went beyond to accommodate us. He was super kind and helpful and the amazing waiting staff was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. They were all super attentive. We dined outside in these pretty and cozy cabanas that felt like its own private space. I would recommend it over the indoor space. Come for the food and stay for the experience. This is a must go and I can not wait to return.
