Stopped by for happy hour. Love the cucumber cosmopolitan and the salmon tartare as a light bite. Good music and atmosphere.

It was such a relief to go to a place in the meat packing district that didn't have an attitude. Large , airy , great service from the min I walked in. The starters were delicious as well as the seafood risotto. Very welcoming atmosphere

Enjoyed my visit for birthday dinner with my friends. It was very quiet as off course it was Super-bowl Sunday . Food was delicious and service was great. I will definitely re-vist.

Somehow managing to serve food worthy of this über-hip must-be-seen-in Meatpacking District hotspot, Fig & Olive consistently dishes up delightful Mediterranean fare. The airy space, decked out with plenty of cool backlighting, attracts the hiperati while producing quality goods. There's a lot on the long menu that tempts. Entrées include a not-so-memorable Mediterranean tasting plate (grilled chicken, lamb and shrimp) and a generous portion of lobster pasta de Venezia (that may be dry and bland). All the more reason to stick to the large selection of small plates and starters: the juicy seared sea scallops (topped with shaved artichoke) and the crispy-on-the-outside, gooey-on-the-inside crab croquettes a la plancha are standouts. And the Fig & Olive salad, loaded with fresh veggies, apple, manchego, Gorgonzola and walnuts, is a refreshing way to finish off the meal before vanishing into the Meatpacking night.
