Restaurant was behind on orders but staff is incredibly friendly. The mushroom pita is the champion of their menu.

The first Miznon in the United States opened in Chelsea Market in 2017. We use fresh and seasonally inspired ingredients to create a new kind of Mediterranean street food. Our vision is to take the flavor of each city and translate it into a pita. Inspired by Israeli celebrity Chef Eyal Shani.
Other Information
About the restaurant: Chef Eyal Shani has brought his hugely popular fast-casual restaurant Miznon to New York, his first outpost in the United States. Known in Israel, Vienna, Paris and Melbourne for super-fluffy pitas and its signature whole roasted cauliflower, Miznon offers a fun, casual environment for lunch and dinner.Likes: The fluffy pitas are easily the best you've ever had.Dislikes: Table service could eliminate the long lines to order at the counter.Food & Drinks: Diners order at the counter from a menu of "In a Pita," "Out of the Pita" and "On a Plate" selections, which are served to your table by runners. Ingredients are sourced from Dickson's Farmstand Meats, The Lobster Place and Chelsea Local, all at Chelsea Market. Depending on the day, no-pita selections might include a bag of freshly roasted beets or a bag of green beans dressed simply with olive oil, lemon, salt and garlic. A range of vegetarian, meat and seafood pitas include several designed especially for the New York market, such as the Reuben or the juicy folded cheeseburger with crisped white cheddar. Others not to be missed are the rib-eye minute steak pita with tahini, tomato salsa, pickles and spicy green peppers; or the four-mushroom combination with scallions, sour cream and spicy sauce. Even the dessert, named the Trail of Bananas, is served on a pita, a mini envelope for a luscious combination of caramelized bananas and melted chocolate. A variety of handcrafted cocktails, beer and wine by the glass is offered.
