About PAWS NY
PAWS NY is an amazing organization that helps elderly and disabled individuals keep their beloved pets. Their mission is to fill an important gap by providing fostering, vet transport, dog walking, and litter maintenance. This work is a wonderful testimony to how an animal companion can sustain someone. The organization is thoughtful towards both clients and volunteers, operating quietly and with generosity of heart. Orientation is done via Zoom, making it accessible. Volunteering for PAWS NY is a very fulfilling, pleasurable, and fun experience that allows people to support their community. It is an absolutely amazing nonprofit with a wonderful mission, staff, and clients.

As a volunteer for this organization, I love what they do! They’re so thoughtful towards both clients and volunteers. I'm so glad that PAWS exists to help people together with their beloved companions and volunteering with them has been such a pleasure and fun.
