Staples in Union Square, New York, is a clean and orderly store with a wide variety of merchandise displayed clearly. It provides essential printing, shipping, and technology services for small businesses, remote workers, and students. Many customers report fantastic and genuinely pleasant help from staff, who give great advice. However, the printing area often has only one person working, leading to waits of 10+ minutes even for prepared orders. While service at check-out is friendly and accurate, some items may not be in stock but can be ordered in-store without shipping fees. The location is noted to need new floor carpeting badly.
Salesperson didn’t know his stock and wasn’t helpful but the cashier/manager and associate at check out went out of their way to do everything they could to make sure I got out of the store with everything I needed. They were great even though the person on the store floor was not.
