“Your young lady Abigail did an excellent job matching our various paint chip colors and supplying us with the gallons and primers required to complete our home painting job.Abigail also recommended rollers that would do a better job.”
“We ordered some samples for our bedroom and finally decided on a color. When we ordered the gallon it was a few shades lighter than the sample, and even though the gallon matched the paint chip exactly we wanted the darker shade that the sample reflected. We came back in twice to get our gallon tinted darker until it perfectly matched the sample. We really appreciated how willing they were to work with us to get the color we wanted even though I’m sure it was inconvenient and probably annoying for them (not that they ever showed it).”
“We love this store for all of our paint needs. The quality of the paint far exceeds any where else we have purchased from. The paint is so thick and just high quality. It’s so easy to clean and with 3 kids and 2 dogs that’s a huge plus. The color selection is outstanding. The staff is super knowledgeable and extremely helpful and professional.”
“Excellent customer service! They make sure to calibrate their machine so you get consistent and accurate color every time. They can even match Sherwin-Williams paint codes as well as scan any color off of an object for an exacting color match, as well. All of the staff are very helpful and most especially Jeff. “I was not previously familiar with the Hatchet Hardware stores, and it was not obvious to me that this was (a new) one until I did a search online. There was no obvious sign for that - but plenty of ACE banners - except a letter-sized paper on the front door. The store is quite clean and very well laid out. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance very shortly after entering the store. The selection of products in the store, ACE and otherwise, satisfies most of my home and garden needs. They're not the only ACE hardware store in my vicinity, and not the closest to me either, but it's great to have this store as another option, especially when I'm shopping in Colonie.”
