“ALDI is good for fresh fruits and vegetables compared to Walmart. Obviously Walmart is cheaper, but ALDI provides lots of alternative. Don't like their cart policy, nowadays who roams around with quarters in their pocket.”

“We have visited purple rice for years and absolutely love Alex. She's amazing. We appreciate the variety and service she provides. We always buy her seaweed salad, kimchi, and noodle salad if any are still available. This last visit she and my husband talked shop about growing ginger and she helped him pick out a good root. Previously I have asked her about bamboo and advice on growing it. She candidly admitted that this isn't where she shines, but offered what she could. The stacking dumpling steamer we bought from her 6 years ago is still just as functional as the day we bought it, making it a great investment. We use it for soa poa as well as dumplings. Alex is amazing, funny, down to earth, and kind. Potsdam is a better place for having her and her shop there. If you don't like her service, you can always ring the bell by the front door.”

“The store is a gem. I love the Heidelberg Bread and the Montreal Bagels. Yesterday I bought a jar of Brooklyn Delhi Cashew Butter Masala Simmer Sauce, and heated it with paneer, coconut milk, spinach, kale, and I served it over basmati rice. A truly warming meal.”
“I was pleasantly surprised at the meat selection and prices. I found many name brand products at fair market prices and plan on shopping here weekly. Good job Save A Lot!”

“It’s a small place. I mean it could have been better, but because there exists a Walmart, and Walmart’s prices are cheaper than them.Although their bakery items are a little bit pricey than Walmart’s, they are freshly made and delicious.”

“I like this store better than the other one in Massena. There's different items and it's not usually busy. But a couple of the staff are absolutely miserable.”
“This store is very clean and easy to find things. The employees are friendly for the most part. They have a lot of good buys in here, food, any household items, pet supplies, make up, toiletries, ect. Every Saturday if you have either the paper or the digital coupon you can get $5 off a purchase of $25 or more. That's nice.”

“The lady who works at night is always cheerful and open to offering samples of ice cream etc, but the older woman who made my milkshakes today 4/9 was not very friendly. The younger lady was making food and it was quite busy, and the older lady was trying to do everything herself and when I asked for two chocolate milkshakes she said “of course you need two chocolate milkshakes” like with attitude. Seemed rude, but I didn’t want her poor attitude to reflect an otherwise amazing store”
“Most of the time you have a hard time finding a cashier at one of the registers. They make you go through the self checkout and when you're handicapped and you're disabled it is very difficult to take care of your own merchandise. They should have at least two registers open with people manning them most of the day .
that make it you make it really difficult for the senior citizens to shop”

“The staff here is SO friendly and personable. Store is very clean and easy to find what's needed. Needs a billboard so people don't miss it passing by! Would be nice to see them repair and expand the parking lot.”
