“Bank is excellent. The only problem is the ATM seems to take forever to read the card chip. After like what seems like a minute, I take the card out, reinsert it, and it works right away asking for my pin. Maybe try to adjust them to make them quicker.”

“Im one who doesn't usually go out of my way to make a post about anything. But, credit should be given where credit is due. My son and I went in to the Hauppauge branch for fraudulent activity that was picked up on my son's account. It wasnt much just under $30. The branch Mgr took us to his office and treated the whole situation as if we lost thousands more. He did everything he could to resolve the situation and before we knew it the money was back in the account. He did all the leg work, and spent the time required to fix the situation. Im so glad I'm a member here and not just a number. Thank you Jose!”

“I called teachers because the day before I had made a deposit and hadn’t remembered what I did with my remainder of the cash.honestly I thought I had dropped it on the floor at the bank and just walked away. So Marci at the bank helped me out so much where she checked the cameras and was able to give me every detail of every move I made and told me where my cash was. Marci thank you for going over and beyond I know this specific task was not part of your job but you made an effort to try to help a long time customer and you succeeded. “I loved this bank as NEFCU, as Jovia they still have great service during business hours at the branch, but as the other customer said, beware the 1-800 number on the back of your card. The after hours customer service is horrendous to the point where I purposely wait and call the branch directly the following day. I think the name change and changing everyone's debit/credit cards was a bit unnecessary. Don't fix something that isn't broken.”

“I was sent to the KK in store branch because the bank card machine was down in Bay Shore Branch. The Branch Asst Mgr. Who had helped me the day before 5stars. Was with a customer. I was told it wouldn't be long. I went to grab a few things when Greg came down get me. Explained the asst Mgr will be longer then expected. I had 3 things I needed and he handled all 3. There was no jumping through hoops or playing games like other banks- everything felt like the team truly was working to do the best for us. “Always fast and efficient service, there Automotive loans rates can not be beat it's easy and the service is wonderful. You can use any area credit union for your banking- or use there ATMs for no charge. Plus they have a discount club for movie tickets shows, pet insurance discount, Mortage rates, along with equity lines of credit are always very low. It's easy to go on line and view the rates, of promotions.”
“As many others have stated the movement in this place is SUPER SLOW. I have to come here to get change a lot since the chase across the street is closed.. everyone that works in this location is friendly and helpful but I just don't understand why everyone is slow with literally everything. It takes 2 minutes to get change anywhere else but it's 10 minutes or more coming here and I also come during my own work hours and it's super inconvenient to have to wait so long for something so simple. I'm sorry guys to have to put this review but hopefully you'll understand that time is precious! And those few extra minutes does a lot!!”

“We’ve had the pleasure of working with TFCU on five loans, with our first loan handled by the incredibly knowledgeable and customer-oriented Lorna Curtin. Her kindness and wisdom were truly remarkable, making our interactions with her feel like we were working with a wise and caring grandmother.
However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we needed another loan a few years later. This time, we had to work with a different department, and unfortunately, our interactions were far from satisfactory. One representative even hung up on me, and others dropped the ball, leaving us in a precarious situation.
Feeling frustrated and disheartened, I brought my experience to Lorna’s attention. She advised me to share my story with the CEO and managers of TFCU, assuring me that they would be eager to address the issues and make amends. Reluctantly, I took the time to document and submit my experience to management.
Chris Tahmisyan, the Senior Manager of Member Experience, promptly reached out to me. He had already reviewed the recordings of my phone calls with the loan department and assured me that they would use my experience as a valuable training opportunity for that team. Additionally, he personally monitored my loan process until it was completed, ensuring that I had a positive customer experience.
Chris went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. It’s important to remember that every company has its share of bad days and individuals who may not always meet expectations. However, I was grateful to TFCU for acknowledging their shortcomings, taking steps to improve their processes, and prioritizing the positive experience of their customers.
