Mardee's Canine Cutz
628 S Main St, North SyracuseMardee works so well with my little one (Oreo). She works off of your schedule and times that are best for you. I love that you can walk in anytime and use the shop and equipment to wash your dog. It is a small fee, I believe $5-$7 to wash and go. If I had to find something I didn't like it would be the location. I work out near shop but live way out towards Camillus. It is worth the travel!

Helping Hounds Dog Rescue
7268 Caswell Ave, North SyracuseMy one bad experience: We adopted another dog, Carl, back in 2021. I brought in 80 LBS of dog food for donation. I carried them in and asked one of the roving employees where I take this food to drop off. The employee looks at me, scoffs, and proceeds to shout to the receptionist, "Hey, did we get that check for 1.5 million dollars in today from such-n-such foundation?" Then proceeds to just walk away. This takes up way too much mental real estate for some reason. They do an amazing job of saving dogs from kill shelters down south. They rehab dogs into fosters to acclimate and gauge behavior before being allowed to adopt, which I believe is a whole lot better for the puppers. We adopted Stuart (formerly Chevy) from here, and have been loving every minute with him!
