“Receptionist staff was very accommodating and extremely kind. They got me in same day even though I was not a patient of theirs. Although I am now! The tech was very sweet to my cat and showed real compassion with the situation. The vet came in and gave my cat a treat right away to help ease her and she loved her like I would. She gave me all the information I needed to help with further issues and answered all my questions.
Truly a great experience. I would recommend 10 times over.”

“Local vet we take all three of our small dogs to. We've had them in for tooth extraction, teeth scaling, check-ups, and the occasional mishap as our dogs are getting to be ol' folks. If you show up a few minutes early there's usually no wait. They don't push services or treatments, they just offer what's needed with the best care available. Moderately priced compared to some other places, in my opinion.”

“When my 6-year-old cat Rory needed almost all of his teeth removed, my primary vet referred me to Dr. Hansen. I'm so pleased that there's a board-certified veterinary dentist in the area. He was patient, kind, and, most importantly, highly skilled. This isn't my first time having dental work done on my cats (the ones I adopt tend to come with preexisting dental conditions) but it was my first time with an actual veterinary dentist. Not only was the procedure fast and efficient, my cat healed up exceptionally well. His tech (Heather, I believe?) was also so kind and really helped calm my anxiety about the procedure. It's been a month and my two tooth boy is back to eating with gusto, and has apparently become three years younger in the process. It was the easiest dental procedure any of my cats have ever gone through and I am so happy knowing that my boy can finally live a pain-free, happy life! Here he is, showing off his two remaining teeth.”

“Myself and my dogs love everyone at ASAH!!! I feel like family and always leave with a good understanding of my dogs treatment plans. The past couple of years each of my dogs needed specific treatments. Finn has gotten dental and xrays to monitor his joints. Theo (pictured waiting for his friends to come in) has had a toe amputation, dental, and skin tag removals all with great success. Valley has had dental and oral surgery and got to tag along with Theo on his visit today for an anal gland issue that arose. Dr. Stein does a wonderful job explaining everything in an easy to comprehend way and I always feel assured all my questions are answered.
Amanda and Caroline are always supportive and kind at the front desk and always seem happy to see my and my precious fur babies. Thank you all for everything you do for me and my dogs”

“When I first moved here I struggled to find a vet that I felt was personable and really cared about my animals. McBride was the first place to really work for me. They work us in if we ever call with concerns, they call for check ups the day after surgeries and many runs after if more complications arise. The front desk staff is so kind and caring, as are all the techs and the vet! I never feel like I’m getting subpar service and each of them genuinely cares about the well being of our babies.
Cannot recommend this place enough, worth every penny.”

She found a heart murmur in my younger dog that the specialist had a tough time finding. She said dr decker is a really good vet. It took me some time to find it. Highly recommend”

“I’ve been to A LOT of vets, for routine and emergency procedures. All of them prior besides OSU seem to price gauge and seem to care more about the green other than the animals. I truly believe many vets in this area are part of some sort of conglomerate and keep prices similar and attempt to crush those that do not comply.
This vet, completely goes against that norm. This was my first experience with them, for teeth cleaning / removal along w a fat mass removal on my Beagle. They were 1/2 the price of other vets in area ($1,500-$2,000 compared to over $3,000).
Not only that, a pet peeve of mine is vets requiring payment prior to treatment, which all in area do. DRIVES ME NUTS! It was refreshing to drop off my dog here and have them say, “we will call you when she’s ready!” And not pull out my credit card. Like it’s my dog, I’ll pay for it. Gerber gets it!
When I went to get my Pup the bill was BELOW the LOW end of estimate!! I’ve also never had that. I always come in expecting to pay high end or over as I always have before. I have had an animal die on the table and they billed the high end!! Apparently the complete procedure was 100% complete and the animal died (w/o CPR) AND they apparently used everything they estimated on the high end. Ridiculous.
Will Gerber always be below low end? No, of course not, things happen. But it is just so nice to see people caring about animals and not nickel and dimeing.
Lastly, speaking of nickel and dimeing her nails were trimmed AND ears cleaned spotless! They didn’t call and ask to do that for the extra $15-$30 other vets charged. They just did it, free of charge!
It’s just unheard of nowadays. All these extras, below budget, friendly, pay at pick up.
They truly care for the customer and I can’t put into words how grateful and happy I am. Thank you!”
