She explained everything so clearly to me that may or may not be going on with my cat and my options. She did all of this while being compassionate and understanding. The Dr and all of the staff I enountered here were a pleasure to deal with. In the end we opted for euthanasia and I feel that was the right decision based on my conversation with the Dr. I was also surprised at how reasonable their costs were. Kenmore Animal Hospital is a place I would recommend.”

“I’m so thrilled with McBride. I belonged to another veterinarian office and my poor Yorkshire terrier, Winnie was in great distress. He was having an issue with his nose. When he would sneeze blood would come out. My vet asked me to pickup ointment for Winnie’s nose even though I pleaded for him to be seen. They said they were booked for two weeks. I started calling around other vets since I was not satisfied with the answer. Several said since he wasn’t a patient he could not be seen. I called McBride on a Friday they ASKED. What’s going on. They scheduled an appointment. Here’s what they found. Somehow Winnie ingested a parasite that embedded in his nose. Had the larvae hatched it would have been horrific and possibly even killed him. I’ve switched both dogs to McBride because they care about your beloved pet. I included a photo of the parasite.”

“I truly can not say enough good things about this office and the staff.
I had adopted a large breed dog from a local shelter and he was not neutered prior to picking him up because he was sick. Between then and when I was supposed to bring him back he was injured playing with my other dog and my regular vet informed me they usually wait to neuter giant breeds so they have time to grow properly and to check with the shelter to see if this was okay since they felt it was very necessary given his rough start to life. After much back and forth with the shelter and their vet and eventually my lawyer, the shelter agreed to a vasectomy. My regular vet does not do them so I had to find one that did. Luckily I came across Amherst Small Animal Hospital.
From start to finish their staff was kind, helpful and understanding. Dr. Stein absolutely agreed with my regular vet and said this was in the best interest of my dog's long term growth and fit me in to adhere to the very tight deadline I had. Dr. Stein was incredibly kind and professional. He listened to my story, gave me his background, told me the science behind why it was important for my dog and reassured me that I made the right choice in fighting for this course of action. The staff was kind, understanding, professional and also reassuring both on the phone and in person.
I will forever be grateful to this practice and staff for their care and support.”
“Everyone at this vet office was amazing. The vet tech (I think I’m not sure, or nurse) helped me bring my dog to the room, because I had my toddler and have ms. They were helpful with information, tips, and just kind in general. You can tell they love what they do. We were seen quickly, and given full disclosure about costs. “I have been going to Dr. Parisi for over 40 years. Numerous dogs and cats with different ailments. Dr.Parisi had always given them the best care. He’s kind and cares about the animals. I moved from Cheektowaga area 9 years ago and make the 40 minute drive even though I’m probably passing 20 Veterinarian's along the way. I will not have anyone else caring for my dogs except Dr. Parisi.”

“I’ve been to A LOT of vets, for routine and emergency procedures. All of them prior besides OSU seem to price gauge and seem to care more about the green other than the animals. I truly believe many vets in this area are part of some sort of conglomerate and keep prices similar and attempt to crush those that do not comply.
This vet, completely goes against that norm. This was my first experience with them, for teeth cleaning / removal along w a fat mass removal on my Beagle. They were 1/2 the price of other vets in area ($1,500-$2,000 compared to over $3,000).
Not only that, a pet peeve of mine is vets requiring payment prior to treatment, which all in area do. DRIVES ME NUTS! It was refreshing to drop off my dog here and have them say, “we will call you when she’s ready!” And not pull out my credit card. Like it’s my dog, I’ll pay for it. Gerber gets it!
When I went to get my Pup the bill was BELOW the LOW end of estimate!! I’ve also never had that. I always come in expecting to pay high end or over as I always have before. I have had an animal die on the table and they billed the high end!! Apparently the complete procedure was 100% complete and the animal died (w/o CPR) AND they apparently used everything they estimated on the high end. Ridiculous.
Will Gerber always be below low end? No, of course not, things happen. But it is just so nice to see people caring about animals and not nickel and dimeing.
Lastly, speaking of nickel and dimeing her nails were trimmed AND ears cleaned spotless! They didn’t call and ask to do that for the extra $15-$30 other vets charged. They just did it, free of charge!
It’s just unheard of nowadays. All these extras, below budget, friendly, pay at pick up.
They truly care for the customer and I can’t put into words how grateful and happy I am. Thank you!”
