352 Tug Hill Rd, OswegoI have a eskipoo, (American eskimo/poodle) I had been taking her to a local chain groomer and every time I have picked her up she was shaved down. This experience at muddy paws had me so happy, my girl came home with a bow and perfect cut and brush!! I will continue to make her spa day at muddy paws. 25 W Cayuga St, OswegoI would never dream of taking my dog anywhere else but here. My dogs have always looked great coming from here and Mallory is so sweet and calm with the animals. My current dog growls at every new person, but did not growl at Mallory because of her calm demeanor. I made the mistake of taking her to another local groomer once when Mallory was full, and I walked in on the other groomer being borderline abusive to another dog, and my dog looked terrible. It’s not at all like that here - Mallory is excellent.

I been to most of them and am extremely impressed with how well North Country operates especially considering they do not turn patients away if they can help it. The long wait times and high prices are 100% worth it because of the unmatched quality of care they provide. They're truly love animals and will care for yours as if they are their own and do so without judgment.

Fruit Valley Veterinary Clinic
7100 NY 104, OswegoI changed to fruit Valley Vet two years ago. The vet is way more caring than I've experienced at my previous vets office. He explained things that my dog was going through. Once I called with a question if I should bring one dog in and he called me after hours to talk and go over everything. I'm very happy I made the decision to switch.

60 Co Rte 89, OswegoGreat place for a variety of ice cream (soft serve & hard packed), sundaes, and shakes. Outside seating (plenty), or bring your own chairs with wonderful views of Lake Ontario. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While I waass in line, the guy before me had taken a lock of his cone & it fell over into his hand. The girl offered to make him another but he said it was fine. The staff was very accommodating as regards to what I wanted to order. I would recommend it for everyone and will be returning.

Clarion Hotel & Suites Riverfront
70 E 1st St, OswegoI booked a room at the Clarion in Oswego NY for a visit for my sisters surprise birthday party. When I arrived I was told I was bumped up to the 4th floor. I wasn't sure what that meant, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the accomodations. Everything was comfy, even the bedding was luxurious! I'm a diabetic and at midnight my alarm went off that I was crashing. I drank some orange juice I had in the room and called the front desk to see if there were vending machines with juice and candy in them. I was told they were in the lobby. So down I went and as I exited the elevator, Tony, at the front desk quickly asked if this was a diabetic incident. When I answered yes, he immediately ran to the kitchen and brought back OJ and helped me navigate the vending machine for something with sugar. He was so helpful and I just wanted to thank him and the hotel for caring for their guests. In the morning, I decided to get something from the hot/cold complimentary breakfast and also enjoyed one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. Everyone, from front desk to servers, were friendly and went out of their way to help you. I would recommend the Clarion highly and look forward to my next stay with them.
