4022 Mill Rd, SkaneatelesGreat local spot! Even the customers were treating us as locals. Are you the brewer? No, just someone who loves the place. Loved the pizza there as a permanent food truck. Great vibe. The beer we had was on point. A solid IPA. There was even a sign on the hiking path along the trout stream. This is quintessential New York country. Highly recommended! Friendly service!

8 Jordan St, SkaneatelesHad an excellent fish fry at aDoug's during a trip to Skaneateles, NY. The ambiance was cozy with a colorful mural that made us feel like we were by the sea. Service was friendly ... you step up to the register to place your order and then they call you when it is ready. Plenty of seating with outdoor tables as well. The fish fries were excellent. Fish was tasty and flakey and the sides were good as well. Loved the Cole slaw... so good . Large portions to satisfy the hungry! I would definitely recommend!

The Sherwood Inn
26 W Genesee St, SkaneatelesHad a wonderful dinner at the Sherwood Inn during our trip to Skaneateles. I had a delicious penne pasta with chicken and andouille sausage after starting with a bowl of tasty French onion soup. My wife's salmon was also delicious and we both loved the warm fresh bread that they serve to start. Shout out to Jamie who took great care of us. The hotel is beautiful... in the heart of the village and overlooking the lake ... established in 1807 as a tavern to be part of a stagecoach business... later converted into a hotel ... a beautiful historic building to stay and dine in. I highly recommend!
