“Better selection of bird items. This store had more of a selection. Sometimes I dont have time to wait for a delivery in the mail. I work looooong hours and typically do not have the time to go to a store like normal people. So I rely on internet shopping. Not my favorite choice.”
“Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasn't sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didn't blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.”
“Love this place! I have come here to get supplies for my cats for the last 3 years since I moved to the area. They deliver for you and are amazingly helpful! And they have some things unavailable in other global chain pet stores. Recently, I was running late from work and was not sure if I would be home for the delivery. They made it happen so easily, and they left at my door. Thank you all for always going above and beyond!”

“Came here to bathe one of my dogs (husky) and they provide shampoo, towels, tub with nozzle and blow dryer. Even treats!! Super affordable and staff was very inviting. I will be returning with my German shepherd.”
“We love Bobby & Paws! We have been taking our dog here since he was about a year old (he is now 3.5). Our dog Tucker always looks so cute and well groomed after and he always comes out happy. Would definitely recommend!”

“My dog has escaped from my backyard and this shelter was a big help in finding him. I initially called and described my dog but he wasn’t over there. About half an hour later the shelter called back and informed me that my dog was at an emergency veterinarian center nearby. The fact that they remembered how I described my dog and matched that description to a dog in an entirely different location than theirs is amazing. Even taking the extra step to call me back and inform me where my dog was tells me alot. The people working at this shelter genuinely care about animals and have a passion for what they do. I am beyond grateful for their help in my situation.”
“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean! “It is more than 20 miles away, half an hour drive even to the nearest location ( Scarsdale ) from my house so I had not been there for a long time. However, I received discount coupons in mail and I had been searching dog food for my picky eater, I decided to go even in torrential rain. A lady at the front greeted my husband and myself and offered for help. That was a very good impression. Furthermore, I noticed that the coupons were already expired to use, but she accepted them without any hesitation. ( Hope she won't get any trouble) The prices of the food I bought were less than I spent on Amazon. My dog liked the food very much. The trip to the store was a true worth for me.”

“Okay I know I'm beginning to sound like a broken record! This time my poor little is not herself. Sadly she is experiencing some back issues which is keeping her from moving around comfortably. She lays down then upon trying to get up she struggles. So I called Lisa and explained the situation to her so when I drop off my dog they know what to expect. Got to say Lisa has such a great staff. When I arrived there was no issue one of the groomers came right and picked up my dog very carefully and brought her in to get prepped for grooming. Honestly I did not know what to expect with regards to how she was during the time she was being groomed. Apparently she did really good, no squirming, no wincing or crying in discomfort. It pays to always communicate any problems concerns or issues before you drop your dog off this way everyone is on the same page. Great job Le Beastro!”

“I try to shop local, so I stopped in for the first time recently during a stretch of severely cold whether to see whether they had jackets for our 50-pound pup. They did have a good selection, but none just right for our boy. The man helping said he would look downstairs to see if there were any more jackets down there. In the meantime, I asked the owner whether they carried prescription diet foods. The owner then took the time to ask questions about my pet and his current situation. The other employee returned with a jacket that fit well, looked great, and was priced competitively. I didn't think I would have luck with the jacket, so I was happy to get this for the cold weather. I was very surprised and even happier when the owner then threw in a $30 bag of high quality kibble to try as an alternative to the major supplier brand.This man hadn't seen me before and couldn't know whether I'd ever return again. With service and kindness like this, he can be sure that Furry Rascals is our new favorite local pet store.”
“My 3 yr. old Aussie Doodle has been visiting the NY Puppy Club since she was 5 months old. This gem of a place is our go to for boarding/grooming. Harley is well taken care of while in their hands. She is a high energy dog & enjoys playing with all the other furry friends while supervised. I love it, because I can check the web cam when I am missing her & know she is having as much fun as I am. I highly recommend this establishment for your puppy/dog needs.”
“Been taking my pup here since he was about 8 months - my pup is 2 going on 3. let me start by saying, AARON is the best! my dog trusts him & only him! although my pup is very hyper, Aaron & his team @ Nationals know exactly how to take care of him. “After a long and disheartening journey from shelters and other boutiques, we had decided to see if the place where we got our family pug from 13 years ago was around. To our much pleasant surprise, it was and under new and better management! From our first phone call to visit, vanity pups made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Nassar and Nuri were both knowledgeable, patient, and kind as we played with their available puppies! They understood our needs and we were happily able to adopt our Frenchie, Nori! (Formally Tuxedo of Vanity pups!) You can tell they really care about their pups, in every way possible and that really meant a world of difference to us. “Furry Paws has always been my go to for doggie merchandise. Today I was helping a friend looking for the booties for her dog for out in the cold and snow. The employee was so helpful showing me how they are packaged. She had various sizes for different breeds of dogs. It was listed on the package. They came in different colors made of a soft rubber and are disposable. She said she sells a lot of them for $19.99 a package. I left with a lot of information for my friend. It's up to her if she wants to get them or search online for a different style or price. I'm recommending Furry Paws if you live nearby. Save the puppies feet from pain in the ice and snow!”
