“That Ryan Becker review is garbage. The reason you shouldn't replace your own limit switch is because you may be just replacing a part that is the symptom, not the cause. I've seen seasoned technicians replace the same part over and over before they realize they were not looking at the whole system operation. In the case of a limit switch issue, I would be curious to know if he checked the static pressure or the gas valve input to verify proper flow of both air throughout the system, and combustible gas. Furthermore, I would check for obstructions with my camera as well as identify if the heat exchanger is damaged which could be allowing excess heat through the airway.But yeah, it's Johnstone's fault. New York is full of do it yourself handymen. No wonder the housing market here is terrible. Ryan, if you can't afford a professional, just say so next time.”

I was particularly impressed with the quality of the gardening tools and the variety in the paint section.The staff deserves a special mention for their expertise and friendliness, particularly in the lighting department where their guidance was invaluable. However, the store's large size, while allowing for a wide product range, means that items are often far apart. This can make quick trips longer than expected as navigating the vast aisles can be time-consuming.Despite this, the overall experience was good. The store's wide selection and helpful staff make it a go-to destination for home improvement needs, even if it requires a bit more walking.”

“I was in the Penfield Home Depot on Friday (8/7), looking for Flooring for my Condominium. While we weren’t quite sure what we wanted or how to go about installing, we had many questions. A very nice and knowledgeable young man named Devine took care of us and did an awesome job explaining the differences and showing us the different types. We took up quite a bit of his time and he was very patient with us. I would like to thank him for the awesome service and let his superiors know what an outstanding young man he is and that he did a great job helping us out.”

We were helped by Ben, a sales representative, and he showed us a television we never thought or considered purchasing, he showed me the perfect laptop for my needs and showed us a monitor for my husband. He spent a couple of hours with us explaining everything in detail. He was patient and knowledgeable regarding everything. This is the reason we shop at Best Buy...the staff makes it easy and they know their stuff!”

“I went to the Home Depot across from Eastview mall (not my regular location) and I was so pleased and surprised by the excellent survice and willingingness of employees to help me. I have not gotten this type of service at any other Home Depot locations I have been to, so wanted to applaud this location. I had several different employees direct me and help me in the store; all very pleasant and friendly. It seemed most of them were over 50-60 years old - so I'm sure that contributed to such a nice experience. This will be my new location to shop at from now on.”

“I made a deal on 3 brand new appliances with Mike. S. From Orville’s a real knowledgeable, respectful and all around nice guy. The Samsung appliances are stainless and have a lot of bells and whistles as well as being energy efficient and helped take a tired looking kitchen and really freshened it up and modernized the space. We had difficulty with the rebates and Deb was a wizard with the computers and helped us get all the documentation through the web.”
