“My home away from home! Great staff!! From Mike to Helen and Margaret, culture is exceptional. Bike instructors Lisa and Amy as well as Mindy (sub?!) provide clear guidance and enthusiastic support on a consistent basis. Fitness Instructors always ready to assist with a variety of issues. So grateful to this Penfield YMCA. We are truly fortunate!! So important for those of us here during our long cold winters to stay active; having a welcoming and clean atmosphere has made all the difference. We are truly blessed.”
“Free repairs, volunteers are kind. Almost nothing they can’t fix. They’ve been doing this for years so I trust them wholeheartedly with my bikes. Service is quick in cold weather.I will always be proud to rep a charity, let alone one that helps people with an integral part of Rochester.”
“What a unique travel experience! The Sam Patch tour was such a great way to get to know the area, and the team was so kind and knowledgeable. To top it off, we had the chance to experience one of the Erie Canal's famous locks! It's so wild to me how much work and knowledge went into creating a system like this, and that it's still here for us to experience today. Highly recommend booking a tour!”

Along with making a not so happy time in our life easier and happy memories for my children. My daughter only remembers the positive things about having cancer like the CURE picnics and the Christmas parties. Thank you for always being there as a support and helping not only my sick child enjoy her childhood but also her siblings!”

“So members only club so make sure you find a member. It's a great place to go and enjoy it on nice indoor and outdoor firing range. I've been going for over 40 years. Ever since I was a little kid going to their Friday night fish frys. My father's, a life member and I've been a member in the past. Great places to go for lessons. Women wanting to learn how to shoot all that educational stuff is there for the offering and highly encouraged.”

“We had our 2022 Annual Meeting at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester in September 2022. The venue staff was gracious and accommodating, and the food was delicious! Tables were decorated as requested and with minimal guidance. There was sufficient staff to support our needs on the day of the event. Expanded and recently paved parking lot was convenient for our guests. We recommend the UCC of Rochester not just for pub night on Thursdays or fish fry on Fridays, but also organizational or familial events!”
“Sharing my amazing experience: buying a first home was only possible with their assistance, I would recommend this pleasant establishment to anyone who has any questions or hesitation about housing in the WNY area!”
“I've been going to various gyms for 17 years now through Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The Schottland Family YMCA is 100% the best gym I've ever been to. Has lots of free weight equipment, tons of non-free-weight equipment, cardio machines, a sauna, a steam room, hot tub, basketball court, lockable lockers (you don't need to bring your own lock), a food vendor, massage chairs, etc etc etc....This gym covers all my check boxes and more. It's honestly EXCESSIVE, which is cool. I feel like I'm almost pampered with the level of service from the staff too. Everyone seems happy to be there and work, which is rare by itself.”

1400 Turk Hill Rd, Fairport“I wanted to give another review on Perinton Ambulance, although my original experience was not great. I have to say that the quick response and concern was really impressive. I received a call the very next day from the Chief and he wanted to know what happened. He took great notes we review things and talked about how that was not how things are done. I believe this will be a teachable moment for that EMT and everyone needs those now and then. I was very impressed with how he handled things. I did talk with my patient the next day...home and resting. Thank you again to the Chief.”
“This YMCA has been with me for over 20 years. I belonged to Embarcadero San Francisco YMCA and Carlson Metro YMCA evenly. Presently they are bending-over-backwards (thats you Laura K.) for me during Covid to get me re-established as the YMCA national passport program is suspended due to the pandemic.”
“Great team here! Everyone I've ever spoken to has been incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond. I can't remember his name but the redheaded man helped me find an antique doorknob most recently. When the screw fell on the floor as he was disassembling it from the door he moved all the other doors and dug around until he found it. And he did! Look here first for your needs, then try other places.”

This place makes it possible to make sure my child gets the therapy and attention my child deserves and needs to be pushed to his limits to reach his full potential don't know where we would be without daystar. The people here treat you and your children like their own they are a big family.”

I wished other GWs did this. I usually go to the Geneseo one as it's the closest for me. I've gotten to know the staff by first name basis. Went to Brockport and had a wonderful experience with the cashier. She took her time and wrapped all my items with care.”
“The people at the Legacy at Willow Pond are a joy to interact with. For half a decade, I have been providing monthly lectures here and look forward to asking for input and listening to the residents' wonderful stories and questions. The staff are polite and helpful and the location is simply beautiful.”
