“Even when it looks packed by the number of cars in the lot there is always plenty of equipment, free weights and universals. The place is always clean and the coffee pot full.”
“The counselors, the water, the activities! Camp Bay View was the absolute best summer camp. Very organized and friendly staff, they’re great with kids and with parents. My son loved going to camp each day is already looking forward to next year!!”

“What a unique travel experience! The Sam Patch tour was such a great way to get to know the area, and the team was so kind and knowledgeable. To top it off, we had the chance to experience one of the Erie Canal's famous locks! It's so wild to me how much work and knowledge went into creating a system like this, and that it's still here for us to experience today. Highly recommend booking a tour!”
“CURE has been there for us since day one of my daughter being diagnosed with ALL. We will forever be thankful for all the help they have provided us. Along with making a not so happy time in our life easier and happy memories for my children. My daughter only remembers the positive things about having cancer like the CURE picnics and the Christmas parties. Thank you for always being there as a support and helping not only my sick child enjoy her childhood but also her siblings!”
“The Salvation Army helped me get through some tough times in my life. They don't treat you like you're good for nothing and a lazy bum, but show love and care.”
“Great selection of odds and ends, tile, paint, lighting and electrical, sinks, wall paper, plumbing odd bits, drawer pulls, nice old wood furniture. Definitely worth a peep!”
“I gave blood a couple of yime inbhihh school and college. When my father got sick, I started donating as often as I could. The process is quick and aside from the "quick pinch," relatively painless.”
“An impressive volunteer and donation-powered organization. Great place to make a monetary donation or to donate gently used clothing, furniture, and household items.”
“This organization is simply amazing. My mom needed hand railings and they came out and installed 2 and a grip bar in Garage. They are a non profit. And have so many services we had no idea about. So if you are in need please call them. Or not just make a donation you may need them in future.Ken and Stan installers were professional and pleasant”
“It’s a free service. What more can I say. Much appreciated. Guy in the beard played 21 questioned where I got my son’s high end bike (I don’t steal other people’s property). I can understand the questions coming from the nature of the surrounding neighborhood. One dude that came in was literally complaining about the free service he was getting and being rude. I give the volunteers a lot of credit for what they do.
Thank you for your time”
“BCCR is an asset to the Rochester Community. The resources and support they provide are wonderful. Although it represents less than 1% of diagnosed cases, men also get breast cancer.”
“I've been going to various gyms for 17 years now through Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. The Schottland Family YMCA is 100% the best gym I've ever been to. Has lots of free weight equipment, tons of non-free-weight equipment, cardio machines, a sauna, a steam room, hot tub, basketball court, lockable lockers (you don't need to bring your own lock), a food vendor, massage chairs, etc etc etc....This gym covers all my check boxes and more. It's honestly EXCESSIVE, which is cool. I feel like I'm almost pampered with the level of service from the staff too. Everyone seems happy to be there and work, which is rare by itself.”
“I attended the women's camp. It was wonderful, but too short! I could have stayed a week and I wouldn't have been bored. The food was very good. The accommodations were ok - bunk beds, but everyone got a bottom bunk. Bring earplugs for the snorers.
My favourite thing was being in the woodshop. I had such a great time and learned a lot. The woodshop volunteers were so patient and kind.”
“I'm so grateful someone recommended this place to me.I lost everything when I left my abusive ex with our kids two years ago and, recently, finally got into a good paying professional position - but I had ZERO nice clothes and formal wear is required.Ms. Kristal was so warm, friendly, welcoming, and professional and helped me find several beautiful outfits that fit well. I think it's the first time I ever felt like a real adult person, looking in the mirror. I could never have afforded professional wear on my own.I'm truly grateful for her time, patience, and expertise, and I HIGHLY recommend this place to any woman climbing into a better place in life. Can't wait to shock my boss when I go back to work, looking like the professional I now am.THANK YOU!!!”
“So members only club so make sure you find a member. It's a great place to go and enjoy it on nice indoor and outdoor firing range. I've been going for over 40 years. Ever since I was a little kid going to their Friday night fish frys. My father's, a life member and I've been a member in the past. Great places to go for lessons. Women wanting to learn how to shoot all that educational stuff is there for the offering and highly encouraged.”
“Daystar kids was the best thing that has happened to our family and helps out our little one so much. This place makes it possible to make sure my child gets the therapy and attention my child deserves and needs to be pushed to his limits to reach his full potential don't know where we would be without daystar. The people here treat you and your children like their own they are a big family.”

“I wanted to give another review on Perinton Ambulance, although my original experience was not great. I have to say that the quick response and concern was really impressive. I received a call the very next day from the Chief and he wanted to know what happened. He took great notes we review things and talked about how that was not how things are done. I believe this will be a teachable moment for that EMT and everyone needs those now and then. I was very impressed with how he handled things. I did talk with my patient the next day...home and resting. Thank you again to the Chief.”

“Urban League of Rochester has many programs that support the community, the Entrepreneurship Assistance Center and ROC Women's Business Center are only two. If you are starting, running or growing a business, consider working with The Urban League of Rochester.”
“Angels of Mercy runs the Butterfly Boutique, a great resource for women who need clothing. I have had the opportunity to help several women access this resource. The volunteers are friendly and help make sure each visitor feels welcome.”
“I like the Fingerlakes Goodwills. They offer discounts to all Healthcare workers, police, EMS in addition to veterans. This makes me shop there more frequently. I wished other GWs did this. I usually go to the Geneseo one as it's the closest for me. I've gotten to know the staff by first name basis. Went to Brockport and had a wonderful experience with the cashier. She took her time and wrapped all my items with care.”

“I have been a CNA for 21 years and I cN say that episcopal church home has been a home for me! I love going to work and smiling saying hello to everyone as they pass by! The residents are my life outside of my children. I can't be away from them for to long because I truly miss them as if they were my own family members. God shows his love through me and that is why I strive so hard. Compassion is the key to a successful long term care facility. I am so grateful to b part of this organization. Thank you.”
“The people at the Legacy at Willow Pond are a joy to interact with. For half a decade, I have been providing monthly lectures here and look forward to asking for input and listening to the residents' wonderful stories and questions. The staff are polite and helpful and the location is simply beautiful.”
