“Our experience on the Sam Patch Boat Tour in Pittsford was an absolute highlight of our weekend. The journey down the Erie Canal was incredibly scenic, framed by the lush greenery and dense, overhanging trees. The vibrant foliage lining the canal banks provides a peaceful backdrop for the entire ride, making it an excellent outing for anyone looking to enjoy the area's natural landscape from a completely different perspective.
The undisputed highlight of the tour was navigating through Lock 32. Approaching the massive lock structure, and pulling right up to the concrete wall was both fascinating and thrilling. Going back and forth through the lock chamber itself gave us a firsthand look at the engineering of the canal system. Watching the water levels shift and feeling the boat rise and fall inside the concrete walls added an authentic, historic dimension to the trip that you just can't experience from the shore.
What truly brought the history to life, though, was our guide. They were fantastic—infusing the trip with enthusiasm and sharing a steady stream of fun facts about the canal’s construction, its impact on New York's growth, and the local history. It was the perfect balance of an educational and relaxing afternoon. Whether you are a local or just visiting the Rochester area, this tour is a genuinely fun, honest, and memorable way to experience a piece of living history.”
“The counselors, the water, the activities! Camp Bay View was the absolute best summer camp. Very organized and friendly staff, they’re great with kids and with parents. My son loved going to camp each day is already looking forward to next year!!”
“My experience at the library before. For Central library at South Avenue, they helped me to apply for jobs that I wanted. Like the hospital for you are medicine. Other jobs that I wanted to Apply 1-4 job's. Because it's best to apply for jobs during the day to keep yourself occupied.And also they helped me with counting change like reading books. For math problike the easy math problems. Like the easy math problems. How I had dreams for my career goals for cashier? Like Quick, Phil.

“Ever since I lost my job at 6:29 2024 and I met most of the wonderful people a lot of wonderful services that they have I'm talking elder abuse I'm talking about when you lose your job whatever you need the services are there please do sign in at the register with Miss Allison very soft-spoken lady has the same birthday as myself I can't say enough about Paul khamisi he is a wonderful man if you ever get a chance to meet Elder fraud abuse Justin McCabe they are wonderful people yes I'm using names I can't tell you enough about them I'm 66 years old and I can't say enough ever since I've lost my job about a year ago they've been helping me with everything”
“CURE has been there for us since day one of my daughter being diagnosed with ALL. We will forever be thankful for all the help they have provided us. Along with making a not so happy time in our life easier and happy memories for my children. My daughter only remembers the positive things about having cancer like the CURE picnics and the Christmas parties. “It has been wonderful! The girls absolutely love going to their swim lessons.
The only thing I wish Y could change is the sign‑up process. It’s clear that swim lessons are extremely popular, but registration opens at 10 a.m. on a specific day, which can be tricky if I have a meeting at that time. When that happens, the girls end up on the waiting list. I really wish there were a different way to handle the signup.”
“It’s a free service. What more can I say. Much appreciated. Guy in the beard played 21 questioned where I got my son’s high end bike (I don’t steal other people’s property). I can understand the questions coming from the nature of the surrounding neighborhood. One dude that came in was literally complaining about the free service he was getting and being rude. I give the volunteers a lot of credit for what they do.

“I attended the women's camp. It was wonderful, but too short! I could have stayed a week and I wouldn't have been bored. The food was very good. The accommodations were ok - bunk beds, but everyone got a bottom bunk. Bring earplugs for the snorers.
My favourite thing was being in the woodshop. I had such a great time and learned a lot. The woodshop volunteers were so patient and kind.”
“I gave blood a couple of yime inbhihh school and college. When my father got sick, I started donating as often as I could. The process is quick and aside from the "quick pinch," relatively painless.”
“So members only club so make sure you find a member. It's a great place to go and enjoy it on nice indoor and outdoor firing range. I've been going for over 40 years. Ever since I was a little kid going to their Friday night fish frys. My father's, a life member and I've been a member in the past. Great places to go for lessons. Women wanting to learn how to shoot all that educational stuff is there for the offering and highly encouraged.”
“Daystar kids was the best thing that has happened to our family and helps out our little one so much. This place makes it possible to make sure my child gets the therapy and attention my child deserves and needs to be pushed to his limits to reach his full potential don't know where we would be without daystar. The people here treat you and your children like their own they are a big family.”

“I wanted to give another review on Perinton Ambulance, although my original experience was not great. I have to say that the quick response and concern was really impressive. I received a call the very next day from the Chief and he wanted to know what happened. He took great notes we review things and talked about how that was not how things are done. I believe this will be a teachable moment for that EMT and everyone needs those now and then. I was very impressed with how he handled things. I did talk with my patient the next day...home and resting. Thank you again to the Chief.”

“This was our first experience at the Chatterbox Club, and it went like this...As part of a holiday party and we had the pleasure of an evening of wonderful food and friendly staff...The hors d'oeuvre were amazing and the service top shelf...The rooms we spacious and very well maintained which added to how special the rooms were...Plenty of safe off-street parking to accommodate many cars...All in all the Chatterbox Club is amazing and worth booking a party or special event there...”

“We were very pleased with the level of concern for the well being and dignity of my husband during his stay and the discharge process at ECH Rehab, as well as the continuing care now that he is home. We were especially delighted that PT happened 6 days a week, rather than the 5 we anticipated. Approaching holiday season and the construction project going on would have been an understandable distraction from patients, but neither caused limited care.”
“Angels of Mercy runs the Butterfly Boutique, a great resource for women who need clothing. I have had the opportunity to help several women access this resource. The volunteers are friendly and help make sure each visitor feels welcome.”
“I like the Fingerlakes Goodwills. They offer discounts to all Healthcare workers, police, EMS in addition to veterans. This makes me shop there more frequently. I wished other GWs did this. I usually go to the Geneseo one as it's the closest for me. I've gotten to know the staff by first name basis. Went to Brockport and had a wonderful experience with the cashier. She took her time and wrapped all my items with care.”
