“If there were 10 stars available for a review, this place would warrant the rating of a ? percent! I called to inquire about a possible wheel bearing issue and was concerned about making it safely to our destination to Boston!! I spoke with Ray and he said to bring it in right away, he said that he wouldn’t want anyone to be stranded on the I-90 interstate!
My partner arrived and explained the issue and Ray had one of his mechanics drive the vehicle and determined that it was indeed the wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. With in 2 hrs, Ray was able to locate the part and my partner was on her way back to Boston with a new wheel bearing and no issues. I have never experienced this amazing service with the sense of urgency and friendly staff. So if you’re stranded on the interstate or just in the area, flock to this place!! “I live in the Buffalo area and was driving to Sackets Harbor to take my son to a lacrosse tournament. About a week ago I had a local shop do some repairs to my brakes, roters and calipers in order to pass inspection I spent over $1500 at the other shop. On the way to the tournament, my vehicle started to malfunction and would not allow me to go over 44 mph. Lights were flashing on the dash and words were displayed such as “brake failure”. I called the other shop that blamed it on the technology and told me to go to a local auto parts store to have a code diagnose the problem. Instead I quickly googled the closest auto mechanic and Howie popped up. I called to explain the situation and they quickly calmed me down, offered to come and find me and my three children and saw me immediately when we got into the parking lot Howie‘s found that the other auto shop did not connect my brakes or my calipers appropriately. In fact. There were actual bolts just missing. Due to that it caused many other issues with wiring underneath the breaking system. Not to mention the significant danger it put myself and my children in. The gentleman at Howie was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and forthcoming with everything that he needed to do to my car, taking pictures to reassure me and explaining everything along the way he even went above and beyond and contacted the other auto shop to have them pay for the repairs that they were doing since they had caused this issue in the first place. I am not from this area. In fact I live about about an hour and 40 minutes away, but I honestly am considering driving out to Howie‘s for future repair needs because of the care and time that they took to ensure that my family was safe when we left. 10/10 would highly recommend.”

“SO impressed with the service orientation, helpfulness, and friendliness at Brotz Automotive! I stopped in while riding through on my Honda Super Cub 125 from Detroit to Boston and had a mirror that was flopping around. I asked if I could borrow a large Allen wrench, and they said sure, but then the owner, his brother, dad, and a mechanic came out to greet me and said to pull into the shop. They then took it upon themselves to figure out what was loose and fix it (turned out to be more than an Allen wrench would have been able to fix - they used one, but also an open end wrench and some Loc-Tite - and asked me to sit on the seat to ensure the angle was going to work well!) to ensure I'd be able to safely see behind me for the duration of my 800 mile journey! I wish all shops were as customer-service oriented as Brotz Automotive! We had a terrific, fun conversation about motorcycles and equipment before I hit the road, and neither mirror moved an iota for the rest of my trip, thanks to their caring and professional help!”
