“This fantastic piece of history of a building is no longer a tavern , and as much as that sucks , the ppl who own it now have turned it into a bakery/ coffee house , we did not sample their wares but the bread looked good , the bar itself is still intact as it the shuffle table .
Stop in and get some coffee try a muffin .”

“Gift shop that specializes in JW merchandise. It's great having a niche location to come to for these things vs ordering online only all of my life. Thank you!”

“My husband and I got married on November 1 at Friends & Neighbors and it was the most perfect day. Working with the Audrey's team was an absolute joy. They are so sweet, so responsive, and so professional. Friends & Neighbors is an absolutely gorgeous venue. We didn't have to do a ton of decorating and didn't have to go overboard on flowers because the space speaks for itself. The venue comes with all of the tables, chairs, place settings, etc. The semi-enclosed ceremony space made the ceremony feel so intimate and because it is totally covered, we didn't have to worry about a back up plan in the event of rain. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. We had a family style dinner and there was more than enough food for everyone. We received so many compliments on both - people said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Friends & Neighbors has ten rooms on site and our friends really enjoyed staying with there for the weekend. We cannot say enough good things about the Audrey's Team and Friends & Neighbors. Every penny we spent was well worth it. Highly recommend.”

“Absolutely fantastic place!
The people, the comfort, the food - you never want to leave ❤
The morning view of the sun on the cliffs is stunning. Best Breakfast and pastries you wouldn’t find in most cafes. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with perfect beds and pillows (if you need a good sleep - this is the place).
We were looking for a pet-friendly place but could not imagine such little paradise - there is a beautiful lawn to play with new friends as well as nice little trails to hike.
AND! There is a cute German restaurant just across the street (for the humans 😆).
Wish we had time to stay longer ! The management and staff are so amazing - they truly love the place and it shows in all the big and small details. Thank you for making our stay so magical.”

“Listen y'all. I NEVER leave reviews, but my partner and I had such a restorative time here, I feel compelled. Here's the deal: this is an incredibly special old school bed and breakfast run by the wonderful Maria and Joe. From the jump we felt so welcomed and taken care of - the house is lovely, situated with an incredible view of Mohonk and only a few minutes' drive from downtown New Paltz. The rooms are comfy, cozy, and well-appointed with everything you need to relax. We visited during the snowy season, but we can't wait to return to take advantage of the pool and hot tub. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Maria's exceptionally delicious & cozy home cooking AND baking... and she is one hell of a storyteller to boot! A complete delight.

Above all, though, our stay felt deeply REAL. The world right now is so siloed, sterile, and lonely, in large part because of all the tech that has promised to make our lives frictionless, but instead has pushed us apart from each other. Conversely, the chance to break bread with people we never would have otherwise met, and Maria's deeply rooted hospitality and warmth, were complete chicken soup for the soul.

Run, do not walk, to Mountain Meadows. Your spirit will thank you!”

“We stayed at Inn 81North for 1 night. Despite our last minute request to stay a night at this Inn, Sherryl & Richard made it possible by quickly cleaning a suite for us, after telling us that someone just checked out and that it wasn’t cleaned yet. The suite we stayed at includes a kitchen with many working appliances (such as stove, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and more), bathroom, living room with sofa and tv, and a bedroom with one bed. The suite felt very cozy and clean. Sherryl & Richard were very friendly and a great hosts that constantly checked up on our well being. They even offered us the option to check out a little later the next day when we were stuck in Ellenville for a day. Thank you Sherryl & Richard!

Walkability: Located on the Main Street of Ellenville. Near a library and many local restaurants”

“We were here for a quick work trip with my two kids and one little corgi and we had a great stay! Everyone was kind and helpful, pool was clean and the right temperature! Towels were plentiful. Ann especially was so kind to me and my two kids at breakfast and we want to give her a special shout out for taking the time to be attentive. Thank you so much!”

“Main thing to know is that if you want to bring a pet, you must call the Motel because you will get different answers from Trivago, from the Wyndham website, from the super eight website —just call the Motel and tell them what you need. One of the lamps in my bedroom didn’t work and the sink was kind of dirty with stains that no one can get out, and my particular room door stuck such that you had to kick it to get it open, The carpet was somewhat worn and there were no USB outlets to be found in the room. But the water pressure was good in the shower, the refrigerator worked nicely and otherwise the room was cleanand I got 10% off at Buffalo wild wings next-door. However there doesn’t seem to be any kind of breakfast besides coffee in the morning, but there’s a Starbucks next-door to a McDonald’s down the highway.”
