Pet Care
Walker Valley Veterinary Hospital
3684 NY-52, Walker ValleyMy first visit to WV was more than I expected. My Yorkie Enzo gets very anxious when seeing other animals and this visit did not disappoint. He was loud and stressed however the office was very patient with him. The assistant made us feel welcomed and took good care of Enzo. Dr Barnhorst was everything I hoped for in a holistic veterinarian, she was in-tuned to all my concerns and actually suggested holistic care I already followed which bolstered my confidence that I chose the right doctor for my Enzo. I look forward to a healthy and happy relationship with Dr Barnhorst and Walker Valley Veterinary.

VCA Pine Bush Animal Hospital
1 Hardenburg Road, Pine BushI needed a place to bring my 17 year old almost 18 year old tabby tabby cat when she started acting differently. I suspected hearing loss or possible ear infection or feline dementia because she meowed more. When she was examined, they confirmed that she likely has age related hearing loss accompanied by some feline dementia. The vet never tried to sell me the Brooklyn bridge but recommend options like blood panels and herbal remedies. So I never felt pressured. I ended up purchasing the herbal remedy recommend and I will see how it works instead as spending top dollar on a geriatric cat which is not very realistic when she is still functioning normally in the most important areas ( eating, drinking and using the litterbox regularly). I am so thankful I can still enjoy some more years with my girl. The vet was confident and knowledgeable. I even had my exam done free for being a new client which was a nice perk. I would bring her back as well as my other cat if needed in the future.
