“This store has many imported items and hard to find spices and other products IN BULK!The owner was very helpful, kind and generous. He even gave us free samples, and recommended some items over others due to one product having a better quality over another.The owner gave us free candy, and dried dates as treats, and we will most definitely be back.The spices, lentils, garbanzo beans, and all of the other items we purchased made for a wonderfully authentic Persian Purim dinner this year.”

“Nice place and very convenient to get to . Have almost everything you need. You pay a little more than you would at Walmart. But living out far from Walmart this really helps in spare of the moment times. So happy to have a Dollar General out in Beavers Dam.”
“West End Beverage is a great place to buy drinks, snacks, and lottery. They have a large selection of craft beer from local breweries that you won't find anywhere else. In spring/summer they have food trucks that come about 3 times per week. The owners and employees are very friendly people and will always help you find what you need. It always smells great inside and the temperature is just right whether it's winter or summer. Support local and pay them a visit!”
“I go here often it's close to my home, clean, good selection of items and friendly staff. The coolers work really well for there drink sections and frozen items unlike many other dollar general stores.”

“They really are close, convenient, and always easy to pop on grab and go. Although order ahead for Krispy Krunchy Chicken saves everyone including owners and staff time, Best in town!”
“Meat is 5-stars, as others point out, it's the best place to get meat (better than Tops, Wegmans, Jubilee.) The produce and cheese selection is limited, about a third of Wegmans which has the best in the area in those categories. Overall prices are on par with Wegmans and Jubilee with weekly specials providing great value for select items. The weekly specials are also posted online, so you can know what deals they have before you go. Customer Service is top-notch, cashiers have baggers and there is never the awkward feeling of needing to bag your own groceries when you bring your own bags (ie, like at Walmart). The employees also dress in dress shirts and slacks.”
“Just a vast selection with standard DND gourmet options at decent prices. Great take out or eat in food options also including subs, soups, sushi and other hot foods. Good coffee and a great beer selection of local and global craft beers.”
“This is a nice Dollar General. Always have friendly helpful staff. If you haven't been to a Dollar General, you can get so many things there and their prices on some things are better than larger area grocery stores.”
“Since the Upgrade and Remodel the store is more open. Clean, and has many many more products. They added a self checkout for Credit and debit card transactions, it may be upgraded to accept cash transactions eventually. The staff is helpful. My only complaint and hope for next winter, is that they start to shovel and clear their sidewalks. This past winter they didn't even attempt to shovel their sidewalks once, no salt, or even saw dust. It made for a horrible walk to and even past the store to other places. I really hope they will at least hire someone this coming winter to shovel these highly traveled sidewalks.”
“I shop here it's close and convenient. The people that work there are friendly. I wish they had a better selection on some products but I probably could say that about any supermarket. Comparably, compared to Wegmans and Tops, they are the cheapest of the three. nothing fancy. They do offer gas points and tell gas at that location. Considering the part of town that they are located in, they serve their customers fairly well”

“Clean store & great selections. A little upset that almost every time, the cashier is in the back room & I have to wait for her to come out & ring me up. Never see her when I come in; while I shop; had to ask a vendor where something was. She didn't know. Instead of finding several things on my list, I purchased only one. Had to stand at the counter waiting for the cashier to come out of the back room. She seemed perturbed with my interruption.”
