“Wish we found this place much sooner. We were in process of moving and had a few items we were ready to toss because others wanted new unused items.Helping hands greeted us with open arms and were more than happy to take our donations, including unopened food items, even butter. All items would be going to families in need.We got to help load a truck with other volunteers one day, care packages of baby items, and bags of clothing for children of all ages, clothing for adults of all size. And each bag was labeled to help make distribution easier.Thank-you Helping Hands”

Once I submitted the form online, it was less than 24 hours before I received a call to review my needs and their services. They were so helpful, kind and compassionate. They walked me through the entire process. Everything was exactly like they explained. No surprises, no issues with travel from start to finish. “Book giving service with tons of help and super friendly people. They offer free books to nfp and schools. We were able to get books for an upcoming Juneteenth event. So grateful for their offering.”

“Tracey is the go-to person when you want to talk about student loans. She and her team gives you different resources on how to consolidate loans. She would come up with a strategy that will be less of a financial burden especially with the current climate of the world and inflation.”
“My whole family including myself love this place! It was our first time and we are so amazed at all the details! There are also some interactive ones where you can move objects with a press of a button! And not to mention the folks who are there - they are all so kind, sweet and wonderful! We got there right when they opened and it was pretty crowded already but you are allowed to stay as long as you want. Once we left, there was a line formed outside. So it can get busy! And just FYI, there is a restroom/bathroom there.”
“Beautiful nature center and a few trails in the woods. Lovely place and lovely people! They also offer programming through the year and do great conservation work. Not to be confused with the cemetery next door/ Sagamore Hill.”

They should be inspiring and if you want to help and you have a heart and you have the time and you wanna get back this is the place to join the family to join the organization community to join. “My children enrolled, because it was the only place that I was able to find that offered basketball for school aged children during the dondumbic. Coach Jackson is excellent! For the summer they also offer instructional classes 6 days a week (different sports), that my sons can join in on, and they fall under the umbrella of the nominal monthly fee that's already paid for. The facilities are clean, well kept, the people who work there have good attitudes, and my boys look forward to coming as often as possible!!”
“This place is run by angles on earth, they take care of as many people as humanly possible they clothes and feed anyone in need and this world is a better place for having the Long Island trading post friends and family is spreading the world with take care of your neibor s and anyone that is in need attitude. “My son has been attending this camp for many years, and as someone who used to work at a summer camp (as did my husband; it's where we met), I can truly say this camp it outstanding. The high level of positive leadership trickles down to create an experience for children that captures the kind of magical summer camp usually reserved for sleepaway camp but is right here on Long Island. The grounds are like nowhere else - the pools and sports facilities, all surrounding by trees AND the Long Island sound. Highly recommend.”

“Had a 70th birthday surprise party here and it was perfect! We booked this location for the inside/outside combo and it did not disappoint. We paid to have use of the outdoor area/bar (TV included for Sunday Football!) and had a band play. The tents outside were big enough to hold guests under during a brief rain and the grass area was amazing for the kids to run around and play. Linda was very easy to communicate with and our guests are still talking about how great it was.”
