“I stopped by this Family pharmacy in Plainview today. I met a young man who was quite good at knowing where things were located as i watched him stocking the shelves with various items. I also met a lovely woman ( see business card pix) Voula and had a brief chat. I purchased some toys for gifts and even a box of Oreos. There were some nice stirring silver charms stored an on display in the back. She noted that she is getting even more of a variety of choice items in soon. As I don't use their pharmacy, I can't comment further on that area. Seems to me to be a good place to shop for upcoming holiday gifts.”

“My wife and I made our way to this particular Shoprite because:-Store is HUGE-Selection of foods for my holiday is amazing.This is a great place to shop. Close to Expressway for me and a very easy 'in and out' with plenty of parking, (and they need it.) We walked to the isle of food we were looking for and their selection went the entire isles with a great selection on both sides. The isles are big, the supermarket is big and yet there were so many people inside we all moved a little slower.There is a great selection of prepared foods next to a very complete deli next to a great fish counter. Meats are the same way. There are multiple freezers to keep an adequate selection of meats in their own section. Same thing with the stand up freezers. There are plenty of them and their packed with various foods.There were plenty of manned checkout lanes and an ample supply of self check out stations. Everyone here was extremely friendly-pleasant and they know where everything is and will take you there too.Our check out person was friendly and efficient... They even had someone there to bag the groceries. I like it here and will definately be back more often.KUDOs to the team at Shoprite.”

“Jenny in the pharmacy department is wonderful. She has been helping me get a prescription approved. Jenny promised to make a few calls for me and she actually followed thru. She deserves a gold medal and a Raise. Clearly, the staff at this location is overworked and understaffed.”

“I really don't shop there I just use the pharmacy. It seems to be perpetually busy and don't forget about the half hour that they close for lunch, it leads to a big line when they reopen. The pharmacists have always been attentive and knowledgeable. My only concern is my doctors and this CVS always seem to point the finger at each other as to whether the prescription was sent / received. Also, don't bother calling, you'll be on hold forever! And for those of you who do shop there, they have gone to fully self checkout for those of you who can't stand that.”

“The pharmacy has basically been very reliable and efficient with my prescriptions but yesterday I was just highly impressed A doctor sent a prescription that may have caused a bigger problem than my damaged toe. The pharmacist came to talk to me about it in addition to a paper generated about other issues. When I came the next day with a different prescription from a different doctor for that issue another pharmacist came to me to make sure I wasn’t taking both medications. I assured her I threw out the initial prescription.I’m impressed with their safety priority in spite of being so busy!”
