“May I just say when I was young girl, my Grandma would bring me to Manufacturers & Trust in Manhattan, it was her bank for many years. When I became an adult, I also became a client of M &T. I have had businesses & personal accounts for many years in many branches. The staff at the Poughkeepsie branch jefferson circle, are the most amazing people and remind me of the early 60s, when my grandmother would bring me to the bank. She would go into her safe deposit box and the employees of the bank would take care of me, give me candy and comfort. I remember those days fondly. Now, in my senior years, this bank believed in me when probably no one else did. I thank every single one of you there, every single one of you for the beautiful atmosphere that you have created of true customer service... and I especially love the candy. So grateful that I am in good hands with M & T Bank. I'm sure my grandmother is smiling down from heaven. May God bless you all. I thank you very much forever yours.”

“This is a small hometown bank with a very local feel to it. Everyone there has always been very helpful to me in many ways. I'm not sure where the anger comes from in other posts, but I've never had a problem with their computers, and I don't use Zelle, Venmo, etc., and I maintain my account balances so that I do not need to use 'overdraft' or bounce checks. I simply enter the bank, deposit checks or withdraw cash, take my receipt and a lollipop, the teller smiles and says 'thank you and have a good day'. The end. No 'drama', no problems. And if I ever attempted to cash a check and a bank teller told me it was not cashable or valid, and it was even their own check, as someone described, that would be a clear indicator to me that the check was no good. No, they are not going to divulge information about someone elses accounts. My beef would not be with the bank, but with the issuer of the check. If you're looking for a lot of banking 'bells and whistles', this is not the bank for you-I suggest that you go to a major global bank and deal with them and their multitude of requirements, and where they have no mercy or time for personal issues or problems. The Bank of Millbrook is a great small banking institution with deep roots in our community, where they do a lot of good that goes beyond what could ever be expected from a bank of any type, anywhere. I greatly appreciate their strong and stable presence in our Millbrook community.”

“I just got back from this location after opening up mine and my girlfriends very first business together, an anxious endeavor. I had called earlier that day to ask about scheduling and realized this bank closes most weekdays at 4pm, so I got out of work early and got there at 3:45 thinking it would be a quick 15 minute set up for the accounts. The banker I worked with was Leanna Sorrentino. I have dealt with many, many banks over the years, and would be willing to put it in writing that she was by and far the very BEST I have ever come across in my life. I had to bring my daughter in with us, as we didn't have a sitter and she is very hyperactive. Leanna was not only polite, but offered her toys and spoke to her like she had a background in child development. On top of all that, Leanna stayed an extra HOUR after closing to not only set up the account, but answer all my questions with patience, humor, and professionalism. I will never bank with anyone else for the rest of my life because of that experience. We work hard in my house and to be treated with such respect and kindness after a long work day is refreshing and so very rare these days. Thank you, Leanna! The best around ~”
