“I had a piece of mail redirected from Monroe to Herriman. The two people at the front desk were absolutely amazing very helpful and we’re able to provide in my mail that was imperative that I receive it accidentally went from Monroe to Herriman and they had it and they were very polite kind and I give them five stars just wanted to say it’s also very clean and nice in there. The staff was great.”

“I live in Peekskill but always use this Buchanan post office. The clerk is friendly, helpful and respectful. The mail gets to where it is supposed to go, and seems to travel a wee bit faster than mail out of Peekskill. So far I have not lost any mail leaving from Buchanan. I have lost a lot from Peekskill. Having said all that, I do like my Peekskill mailman, Eric who is great, but don’t like using the post office.”

“I go here almost daily with 5-15 packages and the staff is amazing. Everything is prepaid and they scan it in and give me a receipt no problem. I’ve had my son or parents drop stuff off for me and they treat them just as nice. Anytime I have questions they are happy to help and explain what needs to be purchased to ship my items the correct way. I’ve gone to a lot of post offices in the area and Mahwah is hands down the nicest and most informative.”

I had to send a package that didn't quite fit in the standard box and he took the time and effort to bend, fold and tape it all together so I could send it. Way more than he needed to do!”
“I’ve been coming here for a while now. The counter people are super nice. The rest…. We’ll USPS is my last choice with any packages. They lie and pass the buck with the worst of them. I sent an overnight package cross country and the carrier ON VIDEO went to the door, looked around and left. No notice, knock or doorbell. The same carrier came back the next morning, signed my clients name (incorrectly) and dropped it in the mail box. They denied me a refund with no explanation. I have the cure… it’s ongoing ???”

“The women who work here are the kindest and most patient employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with at a post office. I will never use my local post offices again because this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. They helped me use up old postage I ordered incorrectly so I could mail several packages without wasting it or buying new stamps. They were patient and kind and pleasant with everyone. We had a lovely conversation while they helped me and I honestly can’t say enough nice things. Best post office in the COUNTY!!! “I came here to confirm business hours so I could run errands and am sorry to see the reviews. I’m leaving this five star review here for all the folks who, like me, get mail sent and received on schedule, regularly. This isn’t a restaurant or a hotel or a gentrification haven - nor should it be reviewed as such. Everyone there seems to be working efficiently in a time where there are more packages than ever, but no budget expansion and few upgrades.
Also, I have never once been harassed there by folks standing around; loitering is a racist concept and the descriptions of harassment in some reviews illustrate why. Observing folks hang out might create certain feelings in your body, but folks don’t deserve to be removed from a sidewalk because you’re experiencing feelings.”
