“We had ordered a generator online through Lowe's, not thru the Potsdam Lowe's. It weighs over 230lbs and we needed it delivered and off loaded at our house. The national Lowes assured us they could do this, but as it turns out, they could not. It was shipped by Fedex on a tractor trailer and they would not come up our rural road. We contacted corporate Lowe's to ask them to send it to the Potsdam Lowe's and we would pick it up from there, provided we could get help with loading. Corporate Lowe's would not even do that - we would have to arrange it ourselves between Fedex and Potsdam Lowes. They said it was out of their hands. So, we called Potsdam Lowe's, talked to Fred and he said to talk to Fedex, have them deliver it to the Potsdam Lowe's and they would make sure it got to our house. True to his word, they got the generator on a Saturday and delivered it to us by personal truck - and unloaded it - on Monday. This was service above and beyond. While we are not impressed with corporate Lowe's, we are with the local store. Thank you Fred and delivery dudes!”
