“Went to get a simple car wash from the drive thru car wash to find that it’s been taken over by new owners and is a hand car wash! $25 for exterior (no tip on card). I told the guy I parked under a tree at work and got some weird sap-like substance all over my car and when washing my car he made sure that it was coming off with his power hose and car wash shampoo! Really great service, amazing clean, and you can stay in your car while they wash! Will definitely come back as long as the current people run it.”
“Highly recommended. I had my car repaired here through my insurance and they went over and beyond of repairing not only the damaged parts covered by insurance but also another area of the car too (for the same price as my deductible).”
“Carlos was super helpful. He was about to go home, but stayed late to help me with an emergency brake repair. He ran out to get the parts himself instead of waiting for a delivery. Then he quickly replaced my rotor and brake pad so that I could safely drive home. He recommended ways for me to save money--this is a sign of an honest mechanic. I was able to buy what I needed to stay safe. Show me another mechanic who will work until nearly 8 pm on a Friday night--you can't! I was very lucky to get the last-minute help.”

“I have been bringing my foreign and domestic cars to Joe and Mario D'Agostino's place for 30+ years and only have great things to say about them. As stated in another review Joe is extremely well-trained and skilled at diagnostics and auto repair. Although they are foremost BMW and Audi experts, they can easily handle any make/model. They love working on Italian cars, btw. Agree that they are a hidden gem for auto repair! They are very, very trustworthy; repair estimates and costs are always very fair, if not under the market. I love these guys and recommend them highly. We own 5 cars and they service all of them (Toyota, Honda (2), Fiat, Subaru...Volvo and Ford in the past). You will not be disappointed. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible!”

“I recently stopped at the I95-N Rest Stop during a long road trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The facility was impressively clean and well-maintained, which is always a relief when traveling.
The restrooms were spotless, with regular maintenance evident throughout my visit. The handwashing stations had plenty of soap and paper towels, making it easy to freshen up.
The outdoor area featured well-kept picnic tables and grassy spots, perfect for taking a break and stretching my legs. There were also ample trash bins, which helped keep the area tidy.
Safety was clearly a priority, as the lighting was bright, and there were security measures in place. I felt comfortable taking a moment to relax and recharge.
Overall, the I95 Rest Stop exceeded my expectations. It’s a great place to stop and take a break, and I would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area.”

“Nicest people in the world! My Honda Accord started acting very weird on the Parkway. Rapid search for closest garage. Managed to limp into Round Hill. John and his fellow master mechanics spent a good amount of time troubleshooting and found a "very unusual" blown fuse, which they replaced and then road tested. All seemed fine and they sent us on our way... and way more than fair.”

They assigned a tow to me who after one text went crickets, as in no show. Kind of a bummer when you believe they are going to show and simply don't. Not Armonk garage. They were parking as I arrived. In no time car was secured on flatbed and off! Your driver was great and I will remember AAA and Armonk Garage in the future as needs arise!”

“I went to have a CARSO inspection for my newly purchased CPO car. I won’t get into the waste of time that it is for a CPO car- that’s a silky insurance issue. BUT I will talk about the friendly and efficient service at BSC. I called this morning when I learned I needed this inspection (turns out I was overdue) and they got me in within 45 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and very efficient. The process took 20 minutes and they emailed the results to my insurance company. The place was clean and the minimart, although small had a good selection of sundries. From what I saw it seems they have Full service.”

“My old Toyota Land Cruiser was running very very rough. I called around town (and some Norwalk shops) and nobody would look at it for 2 weeks, Some wouldn’t take it at all, and others wanted $250 diagnostic charge. Not so at New Canaan Gulf. Matt B, the mechanic now running the business, agreed to take it right away. He diagnosed the problem(s) quickly, solved my problems in 2 hours, and I had my car back by afternoon for a fair price. He rebuilt the 50!year old carb, tightened the belt, replaced the spark plugs which were foiled from running too rich. Highly recommend this shop. I’ve read the other reviews and none of the complaints relate to current ownership, fair pricing, or ability to solve the problem. I think negative reviews from people who want free roadside assistance, or who are unhappy with Advanced Auto Parts quality should be deleted. Thank you, Matt. You’re a credit to New Canaan”
