“Fairlawn Inn is lovely, cozy, and charming. I highly recommend, I would love to visit this place again in the summertime to be able to experience the gardens and sitting outside on the porches. You don't often come across stays like this anymore where each room and corner of the house is filled with charming antiques that are all unique and/or have a background story. Sandy is a wonderful and hospitable host; my friend and I enjoyed chatting with her during breakfast time, exchanging recommendations and stories.”

“Amazing stay! Excellent service and communication with the staff, and easy check in / check out processes. Cabins are nice, private, and the scenery is beautiful. We visited Gather Greene when the weather was in the 30-40s Fahrenheit (0-5 degrees Celsius), but the cabins heating system kept us very cozy inside. We stayed in Cabin 17 and it was very spacious, including the bathroom area. My husband is 6’6 (2 meters) and he didn’t feel claustrophobic. Breakfast provided is simple, but awesome for before a hike or any outdoors adventures. Highly recommend!!”

“Stopped in for after dinner drinks and had a fun time pong, dancing and doing shot skis. Drinks were reasonably priced and easy to get with 2 bars. Not sure how the food service is but didn't appear to be too many tables.”

“Everything was great. Murphys Lawyer played on Friday night and had a really good show. A really fun weekend.Rooms: Very nice and clean.Food & drinks: Irish breakfast is included and the best in East Durham. The bar food was really nice and the bartenders were great.”

“What a special, memorable, unique place! We booked on New Year’s Eve and it was such fun! The property is clean and well kept. There is plenty of family friendly activities such as bowling, dj dance party late night, hiking, and rooms to explore. We had delicious home cooked meals. I also rent from him-• MY OPINIONS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL LIFE- ITS ALL MY TRUTH AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES •I came in for a job from someone who knows the owner Vitaliy- she lived in one of his apartments years ago and was telling me about how great of a person he is and how he has a few gigs and I’d enjoy working for him. So I went and filled an application out for the Home Health Care Aide and I did my interviews and met with the manager Brooke and started not to soon after- one of the best decisions I’ve ever made was going in and filling the application out - Vitaliy and his managers Brooke and Julie are all the best people to work for! They actually acknowledged me not even a month into working for him about how good I’m doing - that meant everything to me, the fact that they pay attention and care about their employees and clients and also customers is a beautiful rare thing.The restaurant is a very homey place. I’m new and my husband is a veteran and he has a hard time being around people and even he loves it. My kids love going to play ping pong while the adults play pool and listen to music. It’s just an amazing atmosphere with people who make you feel like your family. My family lost everything to hurricane Ian in Florida and had to move back and the employees AND THE CUSTOMERS ( I’m telling you once you meet them and they like you and you them it’s a family - they look out for each other!! ) all rallied up to make sure we have what we needed for our apartment.I am a very outspoken, outgoing, blunt, rare individual and I’m very opinionated- I would not lie to anyone about anything- but I PROMISE you that you will love the Bar/Restaurant and everyone inside it.Thank You to everyone for making us feel welcomed! It means so much to us.You guys rock!”

“Our new favorite place to stay in the Catskills! As soon as we arrived we felt so welcomed and relaxed…Check-in was smooth and the lobby’s a cozy space for cocktails or a card game. The rooms (we had a king room) are a perfectly styled mix of vintage and modern, they’re clean, comfy and equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend away! Our friends booked “the suite” so we got to enjoy that space too. We loved it so much we had Woodhouse Pizza deliver our dinner to the suite one night and had our own private dinner party (def staying in the suite next visit-it’s gorgeous!)We ate almost the entire menu and plenty of Italian margaritas…Everything was house-made, sooo good and fresh! They also offer a simple breakfast menu (the BEST french press coffee and scone ever!) delivered to your room or anywhere on the property if you prefer to eat outside.This place has it all for a wonderful upstate getaway…great location close enough to shopping, arts, stunning drives/views but also a very peaceful and quiet property. The staff was friendly and attentive, the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful, the food is delicious and the vibes are chill! We will def be back soon!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Catskill Motor Court and would be happy to stay here again. We enjoyed seeing happy children playing together on the very nice playground. We slept well in our comfortable and quiet room. This place is an older building that has been refurbished, and our room was very clean. We had plenty of room - our room contained 2 double beds, a couch and table, a dresser and a tv, and there was still plenty of room to move around. We look forward to seeing our kind and helpful host again when we return!”

“Had a great long weekend stay here but probs won’t be back. Beautiful view from the room however everything felt lower budget than I would have expected for the price. Strange smell from the heater/ac. Bedding was comparable to a Hyatt or Residence Inn. Dismissive service from the front desk. The main lobby with the fireplace looks beautiful but all the furniture is pretty uncomfortable so not great for hanging out. Outdoor property was gorg. Love that it’s dog friendly. Restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful too!”

The food was phenomenal; delicious, generous, with an appealing menu.I spent the day in nearby Kaaterskill Falls followed by relaxing on this beautiful porch.My evening encompassed excellent live music, dancing, and laughs.Personally, I am looking for a venue for a family reunion . I will be bringing The Bavarian Manor Hotel back for strong consideration by my family.”
