“Great selection of staples, as well as more unique (local!) and even vegan items. The layout is well thought out, and they’ve made very good use of the space. Bonus points for having consistently fantastic music playing. Grateful to have this in the neighborhood!”

“Great staff, very good selection, good prices! I love the convenience of its location, off the beaten. If it wasn't for these stupid masks, you would be able to see the smiles on everyone's faces.”

“Store is neatly organized cannot hate on that. But you got some High ahhh prices on items that ISNT expensive in other stores. Either way it will make any smart person go to another Grocery store. 64 ozCran grape shouldn’t be almost $7 a bottle especially if it’s concentrated juice and non organic yall are tripping fam. Also GET RID OF THE SIMPLY PRODUCTS. that stuff is POISON and they are being SUED right now in court(Manhattan ). This grocery store needs to fix their prices ASAP or they won’t do well this year in sales and it will only get worse.”

“Stop and Shop Bay Terrace is located in an outdoor mall. There are many stores around it. And you can find many types of food at Stop and Shop. The price is also considered low. And parking is free.”

“This place has great kimbap and can be paid for with food stamps (the Hicksville location does not allow food stamps to pay for kimbap); the only hiccup was the security guard kept putting the divider in the middle of my groceries because he didn't realize that my friend and I were in the same party. The cashier had to stop him and he got really confused.

The bathroom is in the basement, and not disability accessible.

Otherwise, great store!”

“Store is usually a little crowded when I go in. It’s nice and clean also the staff seem nice. It’s a little more expensive than Key Foods right around the corner when items are not on sale but when on sale their prices are cheaper compared to the same items on sale at Key Foods plus it’s a nicer environment overall.”

“Cherry Valley is expensive, however, it's the only supermarket in the neighborhood that is walkable, unless you walk down to Golden Farms which is also another good one. If you want a hot Dominican breakfast or lunch, this is a great option. However, beware of expiration dates. They always have sales, which is awesome, and are always stocked and the place is super clean. Just be careful with what you are buying. I bought cereal on sale and the cereal was stale do to the bag being punctured. The staff here is great and always greeting you!”

“As someone who is observing from the outside, I want to express my gratitude and thanks to Stop & Shop manager Seon Hall at 70-20 Rockaway Beach for their efforts in the community. Over the years, Mr. Hall has been a strong advocate and supporter of various community organizations, including the 100th Police community council. He has allowed them to stand on the premises and ask customers for food donations, and with the approval of Stop & Shop corporations, has even donated water, turkeys, and gift cards. I am also grateful to the entire management team at Stop & Shop, including Mark Allman, Mark Lawrence, Linden Chance, Sharon Spooner, Michelle Lawrence, Chris Castellano, and Erik Brennan, as well as all the staff members for their excellent customer service. It is heartwarming to see a company like Stop & Shop give back to the community and support local organizations. This is why it is crucial for us to support businesses like Stop & Shop with our money so they can continue making a positive impact in our communities. Thank you, Stop & Shop, for your dedicated service to the Rockaway
s community.”

“Really good quality produce, meats, and deli department. Some dairy and grocery items are priced toward the high end of the "competitive" range, but that's the price of convenience. The previous place left a void when it closed, so it's great to have an even better neighborhood supermarket fill that void.Unfortunately, there has been an increase in thefts recently and Marino's has had to create a new policy: no using your own bags to shop (use their baskets instead), and no "granny carts" at all. It's inconvenient, but we can't blame the store or its employees; they're simply reacting to a sad reality. Two thumbs down for the thieves who have made the new rule necessary.Meanwhile, we should keep supporting a local business that has served the community well.”

“The cheese section is one of the best kept secrets in Queens. Great selection, lots of high quality imports including Roquefort, Mortimer, etc. and smaller portions (which means low prices). Great place to assemble a cheese plate or sample.

For context, Roquefort Papillon here is $18/lb. I paid $32/lb at the Jean-Georges Tin Building in Seaport. The selection here is honestly comparable to the stuff down there.”

“This Korean supermarket delivers on all fronts despite its smaller size. Its selection of essential items is impressive, leaving no room for disappointment. The standout has to be their banchan - an authentic flavor explosion that's an absolute delight.”

“I didn't shop in here for anything .. but I did walk the store and used the restroom.. as I walked the store I seen nothing but great things.. employees were packing out fresh fruits and vegetables... also stocking up shelves with updated products. Everything is seen looked great the workers seem in good spirit and very helpful.
I ask to use the restroom and was escorted downstairs where the received products.. I can honestly say the rest room was pretty clean and comfortable for use. Again I didn't shop for any product as I was doing a vending service .. all around my experience in this short time was great .. great music in background to help shoppers stay in the spirt of the holidays i assume..”

“Very small supermarket by today’s standards. But they seem to fit everything in. Appetizing counter to your right when entering, with a meat department in the rear. Aisles are tight, but the shelves are neat and fully packed with merchandise. Usually two cashiers up front, yet there never seems to be much of a wait. Metered parking.”

“They are really great here. Except they don't take WIC cards. Everything is all fresh. They need to do something about taking WIC cards here. The one on 134 Street liberty Avenue ctown take WIC card but I live so far from them. Really wish they take WIC cards at ctown 123rd liberty Avenue here.”

“Decent stop and shop. Traffic at the parking lot can be messy sometimes. Not so very accessible if you take public transportation or walk to it. I had some issues with the meats before but customer service was great. Very busy on the weekends. Great time to shop is weekdays as most items are on sale.”

“This location was okay a bit messy. I did see lots of workers, so maybe it's because I am an early shopper. Two things that bother me were we carried our five gallon water bottle to be refilled, and there wasn't any there for instock for the customers. The other was our nice but sneaky cashier who told me my number wasn't working and hurried and used the store's card for the coupons or points. Being that she did it so sneaky, I didn't see her use the card. But I did see the discounts come off. So I said my number went threw she said oh oh I used the store card. So I said "okay thank you." I would give this location another chance. And update this review if things go better.”

“I adore this store in particular. It's a really welcoming and accommodating staff. The majority of items are available for fair pricing. Regarding hygiene, they are modern. They will place a customized order for you if you let them know when you need something. They truly care about their customers, which is why it is my go-to store.”
