“This place has great kimbap and can be paid for with food stamps (the Hicksville location does not allow food stamps to pay for kimbap); the only hiccup was the security guard kept putting the divider in the middle of my groceries because he didn't realize that my friend and I were in the same party. The cashier had to stop him and he got really confused.
The bathroom is in the basement, and not disability accessible.
Otherwise, great store!”

“Store is usually a little crowded when I go in. It’s nice and clean also the staff seem nice. It’s a little more expensive than Key Foods right around the corner when items are not on sale but when on sale their prices are cheaper compared to the same items on sale at Key Foods plus it’s a nicer environment overall.”
“Great store with a wide variety of produce. The people make the store and the young man that works there as the manager is extremely polite and patient. Kudos to him for solving a problem I had which was a hassle free return. Bright young man he will grow much further in the company if he continues this way. He looks you in the eye when speaking to you. That's proper home training as is very polite and respectful.”

“Cherry Valley is expensive, however, it's the only supermarket in the neighborhood that is walkable, unless you walk down to Golden Farms which is also another good one. If you want a hot Dominican breakfast or lunch, this is a great option. However, beware of expiration dates. They always have sales, which is awesome, and are always stocked and the place is super clean. Just be careful with what you are buying. I bought cereal on sale and the cereal was stale do to the bag being punctured. The staff here is great and always greeting you!”

“The cheese section is one of the best kept secrets in Queens. Great selection, lots of high quality imports including Roquefort, Mortimer, etc. and smaller portions (which means low prices). Great place to assemble a cheese plate or sample.
For context, Roquefort Papillon here is $18/lb. I paid $32/lb at the Jean-Georges Tin Building in Seaport. The selection here is honestly comparable to the stuff down there.”
“Super clean organized fully stocked it's kind of expensive but it's worth it it's in a nice area everything's on display beautifully. We completely enjoyed the fruit salad that we bought as well as the chilled beverages. Cashiers were competent, there were no lines.”

“I didn't shop in here for anything .. but I did walk the store and used the restroom.. as I walked the store I seen nothing but great things.. employees were packing out fresh fruits and vegetables... also stocking up shelves with updated products. Everything is seen looked great the workers seem in good spirit and very helpful.
I ask to use the restroom and was escorted downstairs where the received products.. I can honestly say the rest room was pretty clean and comfortable for use. Again I didn't shop for any product as I was doing a vending service .. all around my experience in this short time was great .. great music in background to help shoppers stay in the spirt of the holidays i assume..”

I love that their organic/vegan aisle is always growing. Kite Hill makes great vegan cream cheese, ricotta and yogurt and now I don't have to go to Whole Foods for them!”

The aisle are super narrow and makes it hard to move around especially with a shopping cart. Prices are higher here than other places. Cashiers are usually nice enough. Great variety of products”

Compared to what most people think is a good grocery store, this is a disappointment. But for us city folk, it's not bad at all. Reasonably clean. I rarely see anything go past expiration date and only moderately overpriced. In the NYC supermarket scale 1-10 I give it a 7”
“The Fresh n Save on Skillman is a neighborhood staple. I'm a member of the PTA for the local school and Amin and his team are always so good to us and our school community. They have the freshest food and we recently ordered fruit platters for our teacher appreciation week and it was all anybody talked about! They looked and tasted amazing. We are lucky to have such a wonderful local supermarket with great sales and friendly staff! Thank you!”
“Large, clean, well-organized, fully staffed supermarket.They have a great selection and wider variety of premium products than other stores in the area. That said, all their prices are very high (incl. generic brands), even higher than the local organic market nearby.For ex, they charge $7.99 for Stok coffee, even though the going rate is ~ $6 to $6.99 at specialty shops nearby, and other stores (CVS) often have it on sale BOGO 50%.That said, if you're looking for something you can't find elsewhere, like Bob's Red Mill coconut flour or Dave's Killer Bread raisin loaf, this is your spot! Their cold cuts are also pretty good as are their cheeses. Bring your own bags because their's are low quality non-woven ones at a steep mark-up ($1). For reference, Target's equivalent is .05 - .10 cents and more attractive.PS - They accept OTC cards!All in all, it's good for last minute purchases of quality products in a pinch!”
