You might be thinking …hm? A bandanna? Big whoop. But trust me when I say all of your outdoorsy friends will be blown away at how beautiful they are). I think chicory has the best collection of nature inspired books of any bookstore that I’ve been to —ever.
The combination of discovery, superb gifts, like delicious candles, and beautiful bandanas, and an option to order books from bookshop org have pretty much made chicory I go to source for gifts year round. Second pro tip: get on the email list. It’s the only email newsletter worth reading.”

“The Bard College Bookstore has an array of Bard gear, school supplies and snacks. They work directly with faculty to provide students with new and used books for the academic year ensuring each student is purchasing the correct edition and volume. Once finished with the class, a student may sell the book back. If you're in a pinch the bookstore probably has what you're looking for.”

The store itself feels spacious and welcoming, with areas where you can pause, browse, and simply enjoy being present without feeling rushed. There is a coffee shop, to stop have a drink and maybe discuss a good read with a friend or enjoy alone time with a recently bought book.
A peaceful place to spend time, reflect, and reconnect with stories. The staff ate friendly too.”
