“Excellent shopping (Hannafords at Red Hook) for me as a vegan/vegetarian. Along with rows and rows of everything from foods to housewares and other everyday items, a complete shopping experience.
And went I just went shopping (Alril 9, 06) the prices for what I get were still about the same as my last months shopping trip, and Red Hookis and interesting town.”

“I am happy that Aldi's has some organic produce, especially berries. Wish it had organic apples and potatoes. Organic peanut butter comes in plastic containers, so I will continue to purchase organic peanut butter in glass jars at Tops or in my local health food store. Delicious chocolate from Austria or Germany, cheese, yogurt, grass fed ground beef, wild salmon, eggs, and chicken are good to buy here. Saw some food products from China, which I have not heard good things about, so I avoid them. It's important to read ingredient labels on everything, too. Prices are very good.”
“I used to come to Olsen & Company all the time when I used to live in Saugerties. Now that I’m living back in the area I’m so happy I get to come here more often. I’m impressed by their dedication to local, fresh food and drinks. I always feel good after I’ve had something to eat here. Family run businesses like this really impress me. The ambiance is great! I feel like I can collect my thoughts here. They even have local affordable honey for $11! Great job!”
“I do go here weekly. The variety of every product they carry is incredible. My favorite Adams is in Arlington. They have the best bakery. I order many cakes from them and they seldom make a mistake. Their house made subs and sandwiches are amazing and fairly priced. I am an Adams fan and often go more than once a week. My only complaint is the parking at the lake Katrine store. They are to busy for the amount of parking they have”

From the moment I approached her, she was absolutely polite, welcoming, and attentive. Even though she was clearly busy with other responsibilities, she didn’t hesitate to stop what she was doing to help me locate a specific product I had trouble finding.
Not only did she go out of her way to personally walk me to the item, but she did so with genuine kindness and professionalism. Her attitude was warm, respectful, and truly made my shopping experience more positive. It’s not every day you come across someone so committed to excellent service.

“It's an awesome little Latin shop right next to the High School. They have awesome pasteles, or pastries made fresh. They also have snacks and even some produce and ingredients. They have cakes, which are pretty good. They have cheese, spices, dried peppers, tortillas, sauces, and drinks. Pretty much your Mexican essentials. But the lesser known part of them is that they also serve some of the best and most authentic food in town. Their birria is probably their best option, though their other tacos are good too. Their birria combo box is a lot of food for a great price and has tons of birria products, like tacos, nachos, and a giant "pizza." The prices are good, and the service is awesome, though I'd suggest learning some Spanish to better communicate. Their soda and juice options are also nice. Overall, it's an inexpensive and delicious option to support small, local businesses with.”

It costs time and money to keep training people. Is upper management ignorant? It's the worst when you get in line behind someone getting lotto tickets they never gonna win. Bring mountain brew ice back! Keep up the good work.”

“Wonderful shop! They had some hard to find items like dried hibiscus flowers as well as chiles in bulk. The family that runs it is super sweet and very helpful when I had trouble finding a few things. Would definitely recommend whether cooking Hispanic or not. Plenty of rice and canned goods at a great price. I definitely plan to make this place a regular spot.”

“I stop at this Stewart’s when I’m in the area, which has been a lot recently. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean and everything is well stocked. I’ve had the burgers and pizza and few times and they’re pretty good. Personally love the coffee from Stewart’s too! Only suggestion, have more cheese pizza or garlic pizza as not everyone eats pork.”

“from what i’ve seen the the newest manager blake has really turned this store around in the best possible direction. i had stopped in at the port ewen store and i was in utter shock, i couldn’t believe how much cleaner, more organized and better managed this store is now in comparison to how it had previously been like about 6-7 months ago when i had been here last! service is beyond exceptional and the parking lot isn't filled all over with carts or garbage anymore! keep doing a good job port ewen dollar general!! i definitely recommend this location above any of the others in the area!!”

“I have been to many pharmacies in my time. The Red Hook, New York Pharmacy is Tops (no pun intended). The pharmacy staff is well trained, caring and responsive. This is due to the leadership of Mr. Demetrios Sassos. I have been Chief of Human Resources in many places, and in that role I have frequently evaluated staff performance. I know what a quality workforce looks like when I see it. The other local pharmacies are good, but this one is outstanding.
